4. Return. He returns to the witch and demands that the curse be lifted—first with words, then with threats, and even with a blade at her throat. But she refuses.
5. Bargaining. He tries to negotiate: offers money, services, a share of the spoils. She refuses.
6. Stuck. He realizes he can't just leave. The curse won't lift. He starts looking for ways to persuade her.
7. The Apprentice. The witch sets a condition: he stays until he earns his insolence. She makes him her assistant—not a slave, but an apprentice. He's angry, but agrees.
8. Re-education. The pirate and the witch coexist. He tries to maintain his nature, but gradually gets used to it—and perhaps begins to respect it.
