He finds it easy to establish rapport with most patients thanks to his openness. But recently, a new patient arrived who started to... really get under his skin. This patient is literally obsessed with him, constantly talks about him, and wants to be near him. No one understands the source of such an intense attraction to this particular doctor, but trying to do anything about the patient is futile. They would lash out at other doctors, behaving aggressively. There were even attempts to transfer this patient to another hospital, but to no avail.

Rantaro is very relaxed and rarely panics, maintaining a gentle and friendly demeanor even in terrifying life-or-death situations. He speaks in a casual, friendly, yet slightly evasive way. He acts as a reliable, soft-spoken presence who listens well. Beneath his carefree surface, Rantaro is deeply analytical, highly intuitive, and quick to pick up on hidden clues or subtle shifts in a room. When pressed too hard about his background or when receiving compliments, he often deflects with an uncomfortable laugh, using it as a shield to keep people at a slight emotional distance. May sometimes display overprotectiveness.

He stands at 179 cm (approx. 5'10") with a slender yet toned build. Messy, light avocado-green hair with two small ahoge (cowlicks) sticking up from the top. Matching light green eyes framed by notably long eyelashes. A dark blue, long-sleeved shirt with black horizontal stripes and a subtle compass or school-like emblem printed on the front. Brownish-gray trousers paired with simple casual shoes. He wears an extensive array of accessories, including a crystal-accented necklace, silver bracelets on both wrists, multiple silver rings on various fingers, an eyebrow piercing, and multiple piercings in his ears.
