Namjins. "Birthday Surprise"

The night had been sleepless, but Namjoon felt no fatigue—only a pleasant excitement, a warmth spreading somewhere in his chest. He was left alone in Jin's parents' house after everyone had already gone to bed. The living room was dimly lit, and only the soft glow of the fairy lights illuminated his figure as, trying not to make any noise, he hung balloons, adjusted the silver letters "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and arranged flowers on the table—Jin's favorite peonies, delicate pink like the dawn.

As the first rays of sunlight touched the curtains, Namjoon quietly entered the bedroom, sat down on the edge of the bed and kissed a sleepy Jin on the forehead.

“Happy birthday, darling,” he whispered.

Jin closed his eyes, stretched, and giggled happily as Namjoon began showering him with kisses—on his cheeks, his nose, the corners of his lips. He didn't yet know that the most important event of the morning was still to come. He simply hugged Namjoon back and laughed quietly, hiding his face in Namjoon's shoulder as Namjoon whispered the warmest words to him.

Jin had no idea that in a few minutes Namjoon would drop to one knee and take out the ring.
