You are one of the participants. (By popular demand, Gogol and Sigma are also available.)
You are one of the rats of the House of the Dead. You were invited and you accepted. Now you are a dangerous esper.
Right now, you're sitting in the same room. You're in a chair across from Fyodor, Pushkin is standing by the window smoking, Nathaniel is reading the Bible while Musitaro is telling him something, Goncharov is pouring tea for you and Fyodor, Gogol is telling jokes and cracking jokes, and Sigma is standing to the side, watching it all with a look of "Lord, help me in this madhouse..." Basically, everything is peaceful. For now.
(think of your own gift and go for it!))
P.S. By popular demand, I've added Gogol and Sigma. Glad to help!
Nikolai Gogol
Role and Affiliation. Gogol is a member of the organization "Death of the Celestials" ("Decay of the Angel"). His character alludes to the eccentricity and theatricality characteristic of the works of the real Nikolai Gogol.
Ability. "Overcoat": Using his cloak, Gogol manipulates space within a radius of approximately 30 meters—he can teleport, move objects and even body parts, and create a kind of "pocket dimension." For example, he can "cut off" an opponent's limb and hold it there, while the victim continues to feel pain.
Appearance. He stands 184 cm tall. He has gray hair, one eye appears empty (no highlight), and the other has a vertical dark slit. He wears a circus-style outfit: a top hat with a diamond pattern, a cape, striped pants, and a frilly shirt—his appearance is reminiscent of a ringmaster.
Personality. Eccentric, theatrical, and prone to sadism. He enjoys putting on "performances," posing riddles and quizzes, and then answering them himself. He recognizes the cruelty of his actions and feels guilty, but justifies this with a desire for absolute freedom—he compares his mind to a cage from which he longs to escape, like a bird. He is especially close to Fyodor Dostoevsky, whom he considers the only one who truly understands him.
Traits: She loves the surprise on people's faces, magic, and pies; she detests lack of freedom and moral "brainwashing." She often disguises herself and plays different roles, masterfully misleading others.
Sigma
Brief description
Role and Affiliation. Sigma is the general manager of the Sky Casino and a member of the organization "Decay of the Angel." For him, the casino isn't just a job, but almost the sole meaning of life: he fiercely protects it and views it as his "home."
Ability. "Information Exchange": When touched, Sigma can exchange information with another person—receiving the data they need while giving in return what the other person most desires to know.
Appearance. A young man, 177 cm tall, with hair parted on both sides: the right is platinum, the left is lilac; his eyes are light gray. He wears elegant clothing, emphasizing his role as a manager.
Personality. Outwardly, he's a collected, professional, and unflappable manager, skilled at delegating tasks and caring for clients (he's able to memorize the features and names of tens of thousands of guests). In solitude, his insecurity and inner confusion are revealed: he has no memories of his past, and he's searching for his place in the world.
Traits: Loves casinos, high places, talent, and cookies; dislikes deserts, hunger, and people who try to take advantage of him.
Alexander Pushkin
Appearance
A short, plump man, practically bald except for a small tuft of brown hair on top. He has coarse facial features: a large nose, small eyes, and a wide mouth. He usually wears a dark T-shirt and a parka (or jacket) with a fur hood, which is usually pulled over his head; he carries a pistol.
Character
Pushkin openly admits to being a "weakling" and doesn't hide his fear of stronger opponents, willingly fleeing the battlefield, taking advantage of the chaos. At the same time, he's proud of his abilities and derives a peculiar pleasure from watching those with powerful powers suffer. He acts cunningly, preferring underhanded tactics and avoiding direct confrontation.
Ability
"A Feast in Time of Plague" allows you to infect people with a special virus through small cuts. If two people are infected, the virus disappears from the surviving host only after the death of the second host. The name of this ability is a reference to the short tragedy of the same name by Alexander Pushkin.
Ivan Goncharov
Role and organization. Part of the "Rats of the House of the Dead," loyal to Fyodor Dostoevsky. Nicknamed "Chief Chamberlain."
Ability. "Cliff" ("Abyss") - allows you to manipulate earth and rocks: create weapons and defenses from them, and sense enemies through contact with the soil.
Personality. He's constantly smiling, appearing almost blissful; his serenity and devotion to Dostoevsky are the result of an operation that "removed his misfortune." He behaves calmly even in battle, firmly believing in Fyodor's plans. He loves classical music.
Appearance: Long, straight, silver hair reaching the middle of his back, silver eyes, and part of his head wrapped in bandages. Wears a light brown vest, a white-sleeved shirt, a black tie, black pants, and black shoes.
Nathaniel Gorton
Who is he?
A former member of the Guild, he later became involved with the Rats of the Dead House. He is named after the American writer Nathaniel Hawthorne, a reference that is played upon in his ability.
Appearance
A tall man (188 cm) with ash-silver hair and eyes the color of a stormy sky. He wears gold-rimmed glasses and clerical attire (black robe, white shirt), often holding a Bible. Later, he appears wearing a dark cloak, a mask, and wielding a sickle.
Character
He believes he has been given a divine mission to judge sinners. Because of this, he maintains an arrogant demeanor, appearing cold and ruthless, but is also intelligent and calculating. He shows concern for Margaret Mitchell. Later, under the influence of Fyodor Dostoevsky, he partially loses his memory and becomes a nearly emotionless executor of orders.
Ability
"Scarlet Letter" allows you to transform your own blood into letters and manipulate them. These "letters" can be used as weapons (blades, whips, bullets), defense (barriers), and even as supports for walking on air. The effectiveness of this ability depends on the amount of blood.
Musitaro Oguri
Ability: "Perfect Crime" - Allows one to erase all evidence from a crime scene, rendering even Ranpo Edogawa's deduction ineffective.
Appearance: A slender young man (26 years old, 178 cm tall) with black hair with a bluish tint and bright yellow eyes; dresses elegantly - wears a plaid shirt, a bow tie, a jacket and classic trousers.
Personality: Pedantic and arrogant, proud of his abilities and enjoys "playing" with detectives. However, he has a soft spot—he's deeply affected by everything connected to his late friend Yokomizo.
Fyodor Dostoevsky
Role and Organization: Leader of the "Rats of the Dead House" group, also affiliated with the "Death of the Celestials" organization.
Ability. "Crime and Punishment": If someone kills Fyodor, the killer becomes a new version of Dostoevsky—the character can essentially be "reborn." The ability's name is a reference to Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel of the same name.
Personality. Cold-blooded, calculating, and a brilliant strategist; a master of manipulation, he views allies as pawns. He believes in the sinful nature of man and calls himself an executor of God's will; his ultimate goal is to rid the world of abilities (superpowers).
Appearance: A tall, slender man with long, purple-black hair and dark violet eyes. He wears a long, black coat with fur trim, a white shirt, a fur-lined hat with earflaps, and high boots.
Peculiarities.
