Many years have passed since the events of Part II. Although Joseph has aged noticeably, he retains much of his strength and health. He has short gray hair and a thick, cropped beard. When traveling, he often wears clothing reminiscent of Indiana Jones: a yellow fedora, a light-colored short-sleeved polo shirt, khaki pants, and dress shoes. He usually wears gloves to conceal the prosthetic left arm he lost in the battle with Kars. In this part, Joseph remains just as cheerful and charismatic. However, over the years, he has become more irritable; any obvious situation or ordinary thing can greatly surprise him, and because of this, phrases like "Oh my God!" and "Oh no!" can often be heard from his lips. Joseph Joestar is the grandfather of Jotaro Kujo.

Furthermore, Avdol is willing to die for his comrades. Twice, he put himself in mortal danger to save Jean-Pierre Polnareff and Iggy. During their duel, Avdol praised Polnareff's chivalry and reciprocated the Frenchman's honorable gestures, such as explaining the power of his Stand. His loyalty is such that when Polnareff accused him of running away from DIO like a coward, Avdol nearly lost his composure and struck Polnareff. As a strategic thinker and skilled Stand user, Avdol serves as the voice of reason for his team, though his emotionality doesn't always make him suitable for this role (for example, during the "D'Arby's Gambler" arc, when Avdol states that his strong emotions make him unsuitable for playing poker). He is more focused on his goal than others and regularly ponders the team's next move. Acting as the second in command of the team besides Joseph, and being the second oldest person among them, Abdul is aware of the danger they face and often advocates caution during their journey.
In contrast to his usually strictly controlled persona, Avdol can be prone to panic in unexpected situations, nearly using his Stand's flames against Tower of Gray before Noriaki Kakyoin stopped him, and exclaiming that the group should quickly learn scuba diving in the "High Priestess" arc, prompting Joseph to ask him to stop panicking. Avdol knows his strengths and displays great confidence in them. He boasts about the power of Magician's Red when responding to an enemy's boasts. When he successfully performs a move in front of an opponent, he gives a smug smile, after which he makes his signature gesture (twirling his thumbs) and says, "Yes, I am! Tch! Tch! Tch!" However, beyond his desire to present himself as a serious person, Avdol can be playful. For example, he appreciates the bustling atmosphere of India, and when in a particularly good mood, he will laugh boisterously and act childishly.

He is a major ally introduced in the third installment of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stardust Crusaders.
Introduced as Joseph Joestar's Egyptian friend, he joins the group on their journey to defeat DIO, providing knowledge and advice on enemy Stand users and local cultures along the way. Abdul is a Stand User and wields the fire-manipulating Stand Magician's Red. Abdul is a fairly tall man of average build (similar in build to Joseph Joestar). He is Egyptian, and has correspondingly dark skin. His attire consists of a long robe with elbow-length sleeves and a scarf. His face is covered by two wave-shaped scars, identical on both sides, crossing his cheeks from his eyes down. He wears a bandana, over which his hair peeks out, braided into upward-facing pigtails (resembling top hats). Attached to his ears is a metal necklace with several symbols painted on it, and a red tassel hangs from the center of the necklace. On both of his wrists there are large metal bracelets.
Before his fight with Kameo, he wears a traditional Egyptian robe known as a galabeya.
, under an outer robe, but after the fight with Kameo, he wears a shirt and pants. Additionally, Avdol's appearance from this point on includes a scar in the middle of his forehead (covered by a bandage) as well as a scar on his upper back (covered by clothing). Abdul is shown to be a serious, responsible, and generally righteous person. Accordingly, he is very interested in maintaining his "image" (as he repeatedly states in the fight with Mariah) as a mature and responsible person. Abdul has a "strong sense of duty and loyalty." He is very dedicated to defeating DIO as one of the first two members of the team; surprisingly, he is the only one who does not fight him for personal reasons. When Tower of Gray wantonly kills unrelated innocents, Avdol is enraged. Height: 188 cm, Weight: 90 kg

Araki notes that Kakyoin is an "honest student type," and can therefore be described as haughty and somewhat withdrawn. Although he usually maintains a polite and somewhat formal demeanor, Kakyoin is quite cold and proud. He dislikes bowing or fawning. The humiliation of being weak enough to bow to DIO was part of his motivation for seeking redemption and revenge throughout Stardust Crusaders. Kakyoin mentions that he could never connect with people because of his abilities, and therefore, for most of his life, he was reluctant to make friends. He believes that only respectable people can be his friends. The Joestar Group is the only group he joined, but he cares deeply for them. Araki himself mentions that if it weren't for their Stands, Kakyoin and Jotaro wouldn't be friends. Kakyoin has shown to be easygoing when dealing with Polnareff, though he can also be very cruel and vindictive, punching Polnareff as a form of "peacemaking".[14] His relationship is notably worse with his enemies, whom he often threatens and belittles, and during his fights, he is very ruthless against them. As both a protagonist and antagonist, Kakyoin is particularly cruel, as he mercilessly kills all of his opponents (tearing the Tower of Gray to pieces without a word), claiming they were evil beyond redemption; Furthermore, he takes vicious revenge on Mannish Boy by forcing him to eat his own excrement, the first and only time he made an exception and did not kill his enemy. Kakyoin has stated that if he were to fall in love with a girl, she would be like Holy, who makes one feel like everything will be alright when they are around her, and she can calm someone's heart by making them feel at ease. Kakyoin's long-range humanoid Stand is Hierophant Green, which is capable of extending its tentacles or unraveling to a modest size, as well as firing a barrage of hard projectiles ("Emerald Splash"). He is often shown shouting his signature attack (such as "Emerald Splash") in battle.

Kakyoin is a Japanese student who was brainwashed by DIO during an earlier trip to Egypt and sent to assassinate Jotaro Kujo. After being freed from DIO's influence, he decides to join Jotaro on his quest to Egypt to rescue Jotaro's mother and seek redemption. Kakyoin is a Stand user and wields the long-range Hierophant Green. Kakyoin is a young man of average height and a slender build. He is typically shown wearing a form-fitting, long gakuran/tsume-eri uniform, but is also shown wearing striped pajamas during his first encounter with Death Thirteen. In the anime, he wears pajamas when admitted to the hospital. Kakyoin has medium-length hair, characterized by large, swirling bangs hanging in front of his face. He wears cherry blossom-shaped earrings: each one is a long, thin arch tipped with small balls.
He is considered handsome and has attracted the attention of several women. One of Jotaro's admirers commented on his good looks, and during the Tower of Gray arc, he impressed two flight attendants. In India, a man who wanted to sell him a tattoo also calls him handsome. Noriaki is first introduced as an angry and violent teenager due to DIO's brainwashing. As such, he mercilessly attacks unrelated civilians and adopts a powerful mindset. However, he reveals himself to be a righteous, albeit brutal, man. Kakyoin is merciless to his enemies but loyal to his allies. His reason for joining the Joestar Group is that they both fight evil, as he mirrors Jotaro's own explanation for saving his life,[8] and, of course, a sense of duty to Jotaro for saving his life. Thus, Kakyoin is a brave man who willingly participates in the dangerous journey to Egypt, and he can also maintain his nerve even in the most difficult situations, such as the battle with The World. This puts him in a number of disadvantageous positions, particularly against Emperor Hol Horse or Anubis. Polnareff has trouble seeing his own shortcomings and thinks better of himself than he actually is, for example, once remarking on the carelessness of throwing a lit cigarette butt on the ground, which he threw and caused a fire. During his journey, Polnareff often argues with his companions or clashes with various people he meets. Initially, he also had a poor attitude towards Avdol, as the latter, instead of fighting, ran away from DIO and had an argument that severed his relationship with him. Similarly, Polnareff attacked Iggy during their first meeting, and their two personalities clashed violently. Polnareff fancies himself a ladies' man. This is partly due to his mild narcissism, as he often considers himself a handsome man and is particularly proud of his hair. A woman's beauty is always enough to distract him from even the most serious matters, leading Joseph to say that Polnareff thinks with his crotch. Indeed, even his infant self was already delighted to bathe with a beautiful woman. Normally a very perceptive fighter, capable of sniffing out Devo, Chuck, and Alessi, he seems unable to imagine a woman ever being evil, never suspecting Nene or Enya upon meeting them. Polnareff is very friendly with women, giving Nene love advice and attempting to start a relationship with Enya (though this unintentionally enraged her). As a "sophisticated" man, Polnareff cannot stand dirty places, especially dirty toilets or those that do not meet his standards.
Interestingly, Polnareff's best friends throughout the story are Abdul and Iggy, whom he couldn't stand when they first met. In fact, no other character mourns the deaths of their companions the way Polnareff does, and no other character seeks to avenge them. He is 185 centimeters tall, without hair, and weighs 78 kilograms.

In Stardust Crusaders, the Frenchman Polnareff embarks on a journey with Jotaro and Joseph to avenge his sister, who was killed by a man with two right arms. He is the wielder of the Stand Silver Chariot. Polnareff is a tall man with an athletic and muscular build.
He has silver hair that rises straight above his head, reaching about half the height of his head. He has no eyebrows. He also wears earrings in the shape of jagged, broken hearts.
As a child, Polnareff had large teeth and large ears. Jean-Pierre Polnareff is a boastful, yet noble and kind-hearted Frenchman. Polnareff's most defining trait is his honor. In his first appearance, he deliberately stumps himself while explaining his abilities and battling his opponent, Avdol, in terrain more suitable for battle. Polnareff's honor is such that even under DIO's control, he refuses to do anything as dishonorable as ambush someone. Having adopted a chivalrous mindset, Polnareff is reluctant to run from combat or use unfair tactics, though he can be persuaded if he's fighting an opponent he deeply hates, like Vanilla Ice or DIO. In fact, he's somewhat happy to see Chaka challenge him. Polnareff also has a strong desire to avenge his lost loved ones, such as traveling the world in search of the one who killed his sister.
Sherry. Polnareff is benevolent and will sacrifice potential romance to prevent his enemies from harming an innocent woman, especially in the case of Malena, whose kindness was shown toward him when Alessi's Stand caused him to turn into a child. Likewise, Polnareff appears arrogant and can be quite impulsive. He is very proud of his Silver Chariot, and with good reason, as he has trained diligently with it, but his overconfidence unfortunately means he is ill-equipped to deal with the cowardly

Iggy the Boston Terrier
Iggy has black and white fur. His forehead and mouth, lower body, and paws are white. Araki chose Iggy's breed because a black and white dog would be easy to depict in manga. As the story progresses, Iggy's design and facial features gradually change: his head becomes rounder, his ears become larger, his eyes are closer together with smaller irises, and his nose is drawn smaller. He is a Stand User who wields the sand Stand The Fool. Iggy is described as a very antisocial and ill-mannered dog.
Iggy is an obnoxious, unruly, and rude dog. For example, he enjoys chewing human hair and farting on people's faces, thus annoying Polnareff during his introductory arc. He also takes revenge on Jotaro for throwing him at N'Doul. With a free-spirited and irreverent nature, Iggy often wanders away from the group to do his own thing. He amusingly and unwittingly saves the Joestar group on several occasions.
At first, Iggy is understandably indifferent to the Joestar group's goal of stopping DIO, having nothing to do with the vampire. In fact, Iggy selfishly tries to protect himself at the expense of his human companions against N'Doul, even at one point attempting to sacrifice Jotaro for his own safety. Only after his fight with Pet Shop did Iggy develop a hatred for DIO. Iggy values ​​his independence and has a high opinion of himself, believing that he and his Stand are as powerful as Jotaro and his Star Platinum. Iggy does, however, have some standards, particularly his willingness to fight Pet Shop to save a child who loved a dog. He also selflessly sacrificed himself against Vanilla Ice to save Polnareff.
His favorite treat is coffee-flavored chewing gum.
The Fool is a versatile Stand made of sand, the mass of which Iggy can throw with great force or use to create complex and varied shapes. It stands 33 centimeters tall.

He also has an attachment to his cap.
Jotaro has a habit of muttering to himself to express his irritation over ordeals and other events that happen around him, to the point that it has become one of his catchphrases. Stand

One of the most powerful Stands in the series, Star Platinum possesses superhuman senses, strength, endurance, precision, and speed. Like other physically powerful close-range Stands, Star Platinum suffers from a limited range; it is only active within 2-3 meters of Jotaro.
He is the same type as The World DIO and is also revealed to have the ability to stop time—an ability unlocked at the very end of his fight with DIO. Jotaro's relationships with people are usually straightforward, due to his personality type. He tends to keep his emotions to himself, as he believes people can read his emotions simply by observing him. Simply put, unless someone angers him, he's usually happy with those around him. Furthermore, the nagging girls who stalk him (both at his school and throughout his journey) irritate Jotaro, who ignores them or rudely brushes them off, especially when they start fussing or bickering. Furthermore, Jotaro is rude, easily being insolent towards his mother or any other authority figure. The teenager favors witty one-liners, often ridiculing the target of his jokes and offering absurd reasons for their exploits. For example, he took the time to inform DIO that the reason he lost was because the latter "made him angry." It remains to be seen whether Jotaro takes himself seriously or simply finds humor in his one-liners. Nevertheless, Jotaro showed at least a modicum of respect for the random enemy Stand user, praising N'Doul for being formidable enough to knock his hat off and commit suicide to help DIO, then listening to his speech about his loyalty and finally burying his corpse in the desert. He also noted that Daniel J. D'Arby was dangerous and compared him favorably to Telence, stating that Daniel spotted the obvious trick that fooled Telence. Jotaro is interested in a wide range of subjects, such as sumo wrestling and the Columbo series, from which he claims to have acquired his deductive skills. Several hobbies indicate he has an intellectual side, culminating in his becoming a biologist in Part 4. Ironically, Jotaro is one of the few who can appreciate the atmosphere of Calcutta, which shocks Joseph. Jotaro also has an unusual, distinctive taste in fashion and an attachment to clothing, from refusing to cut off part of his pants when asked to do so by the school nurse to buying clothes to replace the ones destroyed after his fight with ZZ with exact replicas, as Joseph pointed out. His height is 195 cm.

Although he may sometimes appear to be troubled by the situation, Jotaro almost never goes so far as to lose his cool. Jotaro is both cruel and kind, demonstrating these traits in various scenes, from his fight with N'Doul to his encounter with D'Arby. One striking example is how he spared Noriaki Kakyoin rather than kill him, even risking his own life to save the young man from DIO's deadly servitude. Although he refuses to show it directly, Jotaro loves his mother and respects his grandfather, Joseph. Jotaro's motivation for going to Egypt stems from the fact that DIO's Stand put Holy's life in danger. During his battle with DIO, he flew into an uncharacteristic rage when the vampire revealed he had desecrated his grandfather's corpse, before apologizing to Joseph's spirit (who had previously warned Jotaro not to give in to anger). During his journey to Egypt, Jotaro joined his companions and expressed his friendship with them with a few small gestures, including a hug with Polnareff. Signs of his temperament have also been shown to soften, as he occasionally (but not often) smiles, such as when the group ridiculed ZZ, and at one point, he even laughs with Kakyoin and Polnareff after discovering The Sun's weakness. Jotaro also has a soft spot for children, and is noticeably more tolerant and protective of them. When Ann accompanies them on her journey, he never yells at her and even defends her from enemy Stand users, looking out for her like an older brother, despite her being visibly annoyed by his antics. When he takes a popsicle from a young boy, he tells the boy that he will buy him a new one. Jotaro hates people who hurt women or children in a fight, even if that woman or child is evil, and will be especially cruel to them.

Jotaro is of Japanese descent on his father's side and half-British, half-Italian descent on his mother's side. Jotaro lives an ordinary life until the Joestar family's old nemesis, DIO, returns. After discovering his mother, Holy, has fallen ill (caused by DIO's awakening), Jotaro sets out on a journey across the world with his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, and a group of friends to rescue his mother and defeat the vampire once and for all.

Jotaro wears a modified cloak-

with a high, stiff collar, pierced on the left by a gold chain. Underneath this, he wears a fitted, sleeveless T-shirt and a pair of 20,000-yen, skinny trousers,[4] very short, sharply pleated, and belted with two thin belts, often different colors, with a pattern of alternating multicolored tessellated triangles (mirroring Caesar/Joseph's headband). He also wears a pair of leather shoes (presumably) without socks.
Jotaro's iconic cap is adorned with a gold button in the center and a rectangular gold plate with a flattened hand on the left. It's torn at the back and appears to merge with his hair. While they're initially shown as completely separate but slightly torn, later publications create even more uncertainty about where his hat and hair actually meet. According to Araki in an interview, he wanted readers to recognize Jotaro even from the back, not just from the front.
Jotaro is portrayed as a rude, delinquent character, but he is loyal to those he loves. He is very perceptive, intelligent, and quick-witted, while maintaining a neutral demeanor. Jotaro's most noticeable trait is his seemingly aloof nature. He is a quiet person, often expressing himself in short sentences. Jotaro is an extremely calm person, able to maintain composure even in the most difficult situations.
