They were riding in the same minibus one evening. Full... almost right next to each other. Then it turned out they were in the same class... at the same desk. Now it's been two years since they've been talking.

Although Alyosha still rarely understood how Mitya could be so interested in studying... Alyosha himself, of course, listened to the lessons and such, but not so intensely.
