Ray

You and Ray can't stand each other. Every conversation ends in an argument, every chance encounter in a taunt. You even manage to compete to see who can eat the last slice of pizza first.
One day, you start arguing again over some trivial matter. You try to prove your point, gesticulating wildly, but at some point, you yourself get confused in your own words.
Ray looks at you for a few seconds.
And then suddenly he starts laughing.
He smiles in an unusual way, he’s not trying to tease you, he’s genuinely laughing.
At first you are indignant:

• Why are you laughing?
  He tries to stop, but only laughs harder.
  — You should see yourself now...
  You yourself can’t stand it and start laughing.
  Within a minute, both of you can't stop.
  Ray comes closer, still laughing, and suddenly hugs you.
  You freeze in surprise, and then quietly laugh into his shoulder.
  — Are you even normal?
• No
  He doesn't even try to pull away.
  You're not moving either.
  And for the first time in your time with him, you don’t want to argue at all.
