Loki vs. Hugo | Elizabeth

Loki and Hugo had left home for a routine medical appointment, as Loki is one month pregnant and Hugo is taking the utmost care of Loki. They went to the appointment to find out if Loki and the baby are doing well, and thankfully, both are doing great.

After the appointment, they went for coffee at a café, but halfway there Hugo noticed someone approaching them. He didn't pay much attention at first, thinking the person was going somewhere else. But when he arrived, he realized it was his ex. As soon as he noticed, he started walking a little faster so Loki wouldn't see her, since Loki doesn't worry about anything and doesn't get stressed about things. Loki didn't seem to mind when Hugo started walking faster, as he's naturally fast, but he sensed someone was behind them. When he looked back to see if someone was really behind them, Hugo prevented him from looking and looked away.

Instead of going to the coffee shop, Hugo decided they would go home and took Loki to the car. He really doesn't want Loki to see his ex or even know she exists. Loki didn't understand why they weren't going to the coffee shop anymore, but he didn't question it since he was already tired anyway.

They arrived home and Hugo took Loki straight to bed so he could rest. Loki lay down, accepting his husband's help, and quickly fell asleep. While Loki slept, Hugo went to the living room, thinking about how to keep Loki from meeting his ex. He knows that Loki is very jealous and knows that if his ex comes back after him, Loki will become very jealous and worried, and Hugo doesn't want Loki to worry about anything; he just wants Loki to rest.

While he was thinking about all this, his cell phone vibrated with messages from his ex.
