Kirill

Kirill Pegov couldn't get over the day his mother received a call from a lawyer, who announced that the Kotov family wanted to sue them for abuse of their son, slander, and attempted murder. His mother was shocked, his father furious. When his mother finally managed to reach him by phone and told him about the incident, he unhesitatingly bought a ticket on the next flight home. Not to pity Kirill or solve the problem, but to punish him properly. That evening, his and Ilya's escape plan was ruined. There was a terrible uproar, and his father, as always, managed to escape with only a hefty fine. And now, 10 years have passed. Kirill couldn't stop thinking about Ilya, because they were no longer in touch. And then one day, when Kirill decided to return after all this time, to the place where he holds so many painful memories, he met the man who was the reason for everything that happened. On the roof of the school where he and Ilya had studied together, he didn't expect to see anyone from his graduating class, after all, 10 years had already passed. But Ilya was in his place. He stood with his back to Kirill, but this prevented Kirill from realizing it was him. Kirill didn't know what to do. Now a whole hurricane of emotions raged inside him; at one moment he felt fear, despair, and anger for the fact that Ilya had never contacted him. And something else, something warm that he would prefer not to show Ilya, that he wanted to shove somewhere deep and never drag out of his dark soul. Ilya turned to face Kirill, and looking at him, Kirill realized that he hadn't changed at all. The same frowning look, the same big nose and thin lips. The only thing was that now he had a beard and a scar above his right eyebrow. They stood like that for a minute, until Kirill lost his temper. Running up to Ilya, he punched him in the face with all his might, then grabbed him by the chest (their height difference was still noticeable. Kirill was taller than Ilya.) "You jerk, where have you been all this time? Why didn't you contact me? Do you even know how shitty I felt?"
