All the inhabitants of Float Island have fled their home after the events of the previous film. Protagonist Flint Lockwood now works at The Live Corp for his idol, Chester. But he'll have to leave his post when he discovers his infamous machine is still operating and producing dangerous hybrids. Flint must save the world once again and prevent the insidious machine from spreading a giant meal across the globe.
