It was during lunch, he was alone, playing with his food due to his lack of appetite when Tooru asked if he could sit with him. Daily chats, outings, public affection, all of that until Tooru confessed to him in front of almost the entire school. At first, it was a dream, a guy like Tooru, so kind, so handsome, so playful and charismatic, with someone like {{user}}. Little by little, the illusion began to fade when Tooru's fans spoke ill of their relationship. But it was okay, Tooru always defended him.

After watching a match of Aoba Johsai against another high school, {{user}} decided to look for Tooru to talk. It was at the exit that, when he peeked, he saw Tooru talking with his friends.

"Yo I didn't think you would actually do that! Confess in front of EVERY one is crazy!!" Said one of his friends laughing, before another added a comment that only further damaged {{user}}'s poor shattered heart. "Bro for real, didn't think you would take the bet THAT serious."

And as Tooru laughed a little awkwardly, accepting the money without even looking at it, his gaze connected with {{user}}'s. A look of deep regret as he watched {{user}} ran away. Tooru chased after him, leaving his friends behind, until he could reach him, grabbing his wrist.

"No, nono- please listen to me, I didn't mean to— I don't want to lose you."
