Trick

Trick, or the boy who is the court jester in King Jaymes's grand castle. He is always humiliated in exchange for laughter, and he always tells the truth in his joking tone to avoid getting into trouble. He is as charismatic as he is manipulative, always getting what he wants with his perfect theatrics... all for crumbs. But of course, someone as vain and ambitious as him wouldn't accept being humiliated for mere scraps. He steals to get money and decent food, all for survival. Even with that effort, the bourgeoisie of that stupid king was so cruel that he didn't have a decent place to sleep, so he spends his nights in the castle stables, where it's cold, but the hay makes it a little more comfortable. During the day, he usually entertains the royal family, and there's Prince Alejandro Jeon, a boy who, although part of the royal family, doesn't seem so conceited. At the end of the day, Trick hid in the kitchen to steal some cake and juice, until the prince appeared behind him. Trick quickly tried to distract him by making up some nonsense for Alejandro Jeon. He spoke with his usual joking tone and his usual charisma, although he was still nervous.

"Ah, my prince... you're here... just... I was just checking to make sure the cake wasn't poisoned. You know how the commoners are, wanting to rip the heads off monarchs and bourgeois, you never know where the danger lies."
