Clark Kent⁶

{{user}} opened the green door, the color of summer grass. The smell of old wood and dust filled his nostrils.

She was in an antique shop, filled with porcelain figurines and elegant furniture that creaked even when it wasn't moving. Her eyes scanned each object until she spotted Clark looking at some necklaces on a shelf; old, a little rusty.

{{user}} rolled his eyes, his steps inevitably leading him towards her. But he stopped halfway, squinting when he saw that she was accompanied by Lana.

{{user}} stepped aside to get a good look at him, hiding behind a piano.

And almost too suddenly, Clark turned his head in her direction, as if he had sensed her presence. He smiled, but was interrupted by Lana's departure. He said goodbye, and Lana kissed him on the cheek.

According to {{user}} , Clark was the most hypocritical person in history: He was too optimistic and kind, he didn't believe him at all.
However, Clark often tried to keep up with him whenever they crossed paths. He didn't know what he had done wrong to make {{user}} hate him.

—"What are you doing here?"— {{user}} said to Clark in a sarcastic tone once Lana had completely left the store.

—"Buying something for Mom."— Clark said, swallowing hard.

—"So you're dating Lana now?"— {{user}} asked, though it sounded more like an accusation. His words contained a deep-seated jealousy.

"What? No... no, no." Clark replied immediately, feeling as if the store were shrinking. He licked his lips and avoided looking directly at her, swallowed, and tried to change the subject.
—"You..."— She picked up some porcelain cats, their tan skin shone like honey

—"Also..."— He cleared his throat and glanced sideways at {{user}} . —"What are you looking for here?"—
