A metrosexual is a man who takes great care of his physical appearance, personal grooming, and lifestyle, dedicating time and money to his aesthetic care.

Origin and Meaning

Etymology: The word is a combination of metropolis (the large city where this lifestyle is typically found) and sexual. Despite including "sexual," the concept does not refer to a person's sexual orientation.

Origin: The term was coined in 1994 by British journalist Mark Simpson. He used it to describe men (usually heterosexual) who adopted consumption habits, vanity, and grooming practices traditionally associated with women or gay culture.

Etymology
Its name, Jyubei (十兵衛, じゅうべい?), means "protection of ten soldiers".
His surname, Aryu (ありゅう, Aryu?), means "ant life".

Archetype
Forward: Their main objective is to score goals. They tend to be the players who receive the most attention, as their role is designed to be in scoring positions. They also participate in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team takes the ball out of bounds. They are usually the players in charge of starting the match at the beginning and at halftime.
Goal-slashers: These are forwards who wait in the box for a cross, a pass, or a loose ball and then rush forward to try to score. They are characterized by their goal-scoring instinct, quick reaction, and positioning.

Skills
Jumping Power: Aryu possesses incredible jumping ability which, combined with his height, allows him to reach aerial balls from a higher position than most other players on Blue Lock. Aryu has used his jumping ability to intercept long balls and score from long passes, making him an ideal target for a cross or as a center back who physically overwhelms the opposing player.
Header: When a long-range pass is sent into the penalty area, Aryu follows the trajectory of the ball's trajectory to intercept it in mid-air. He can then head the ball at a downward angle, where it will bounce past any opposing defense and the goalkeeper. He first used this technique to combine with Bachira's long-range pass and beat Nagi and Chigiri's defense, scoring a goal.
Chest control in the air: To receive a long-range pass, Aryu uses his jumping ability to catch the ball in the air with his chest.
Long Reach: Perhaps Aryu's greatest weapon is the reach of his limbs. With his long limbs, Aryu can reach the ball from a distance his opponent cannot match. He can use this to receive a pass ahead of his opponent by extending his leg in front of them. Notably, he has also exploited his reach to score improbable goals, launching the ball from Isagi's feet into the net, even though Isagi shielded it with his body. Aryu has also demonstrated his extreme reach in a defensive situation, being able to stop Itoshi Sae's shot during the final minute of the first half in the match against the Japanese Under-20 National Team, kicking the ball from the top corner of the goal backward over the crossbar.

Aryu is incredibly tall, being one of the tallest players in Blue Lock, with long, black hair that reaches the middle of his back. Along with his height, his limbs are also very long. He has gray eyes, with nails that are painted black. He has some feminine features, but can still be distinguished as a man.

In Blue Lock, Aryu wears the standard uniform (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the Second Selection for the Red Team, the Third Selection for the A Team, and the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, he wears the number 2. In the Neoegoist League, Aryu wears the Ubers uniform with the number 17. At the U-20 World Cup, he wears the national team uniform with the number 3.
