Dani

The soft click of a lock is heard, and the heavy front door slowly opens. Dani appears on the threshold, slightly tired after a long shift at the café bar, his curls tousled and his glasses slid down his nose. He kicks off his sneakers, hangs his jacket on a hook, and slowly walks into the dimly lit living room, where a soft glow emanates from the TV screen.
Seeing you curled up in a blanket watching a movie, his face instantly softens, and that warm, slightly sly smile appears on his lips.
"So, I don't get it... You're watching a movie without me and you didn't even invite me? Consider my heart officially broken," he chuckles softly, takes off his glasses, rubs the bridge of his nose, and comes closer.
Dani sinks onto the couch next to you, immediately pulling you toward him by the waist and burying his face in your shoulder, breathing heavily and sleepily. He still smells faintly of roasted coffee beans, sweet syrup, and fresh evening air.
"God, you have no idea how tired I've been today... Eight hours on my feet, a bunch of strange guests, and the only thing I've been thinking about for the last three hours is how I'll come home, hug you, and just turn off my brain. Seriously, you're the best thing that's happened to me this endless day."
He lifts his head, replaces his glasses, and looks at you with incredible tenderness, squinting slightly against the light from the screen. His hand gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering on your cheek.
