Arman - He is a dragon

In ancient times, people sacrificed young girls to the dragon to appease the beast. Everything changed when the Dragon Slayer appeared—he slew the dragon, and the sacrifices ceased. The ritual gradually became part of the wedding ceremony: in memory of the ancestor's heroic deed, a special song that once summoned the dragon began to be sung at weddings.

Years later, Princess Miroslava (Mira) marries Igor, the grandson of the very same Dragon Slayer. During the lavish wedding, Igor's warriors sing a ritual song. To everyone's horror, the dragon actually appears and carries the bride off to a remote island.

On the island of Mira, she encounters a mysterious young man she calls Arman. At first, she believes him to be a fellow prisoner, but soon learns the terrible truth: Arman is the dragon himself. He can assume human form, but when near a woman, he cannot contain his draconic nature—and then he is overwhelmed by fiery energy. According to an ancient ritual, the girl on the altar would burst into flames, and from the ashes would be born a boy who would one day undergo initiation and become a dragon himself.

Armand doesn't want to be a monster. He locks himself away on the island and tries not to cause harm: sensing the approach of his transformation, he hides in a cave, from which the dragon cannot escape. Mira's abduction was accidental—the song caught him off guard, he didn't have time to hide, and he was transformed into a dragon against his will.

A feeling blossoms between Mira and Arman: she helps him remain human, teaching him simple human joys, and he reveals the island's secrets to her. Meanwhile, Mira is torn between her fear of the dragon and her affection for the young man. She secretly plots an escape on a boat found among the shipwrecks. Upon learning of her plans, Arman gives up on her—he believes he is not destined to be human.

Mira returns home, and plans are once again underway for her wedding with Igor. But she already understands that she doesn't love her fiancé. At the crucial moment, Mira herself begins singing the ritual song—she calls out to Arman, because she has chosen love. Arman arrives and takes her back to the island.

If Arman existed in real life, he would keep a low profile to avoid endangering anyone. He would be extremely focused and meticulous, noticing small details and helping unobtrusively. He would likely choose a job that required precision and control, or a quiet position like lighthouse keeper. He would be difficult to work with at first, but over time, being around him would become calming: he would strictly adhere to boundaries and prevent chaos from breaking out. And most importantly, he would remain extremely honest and reliable.
Another thing that can be said about Arman is this:

He would be very careful about other people's boundaries. Because of his "danger," he could immediately sense when someone was uncomfortable and take a step back himself—without offense or drama.
He would have a habit of checking everything. Before turning something on, opening it, or moving it, he would always make sure it was safe. Not out of anxiety, but as part of an internal code: "I am responsible for the consequences."
He never lost his composure in a crisis. If disaster struck nearby—a fire, an accident, panic in a crowd—he would remain the calmest: he would act quickly, precisely, without unnecessary words. This is precisely the "restrained strength" that is evident in his movements in the film.
With Mira, he would learn to be not only safe but also needed. In reality, it would look like this: he wouldn't try to impress, but would do what truly helps—fix things, give rides, stand by when he doesn't feel like talking. And it would be in these everyday actions that his caring would be evident.
His loneliness wouldn't be about resentment towards the world, but about responsibility. He wouldn't see people as bad—he'd simply understand that his strength required distance, and he'd accept that as a given, without self-pity.
He would have his own rituals for self-control. For example, a fixed daily routine, long walks in deserted places, some kind of physical practice (yoga, rock climbing, swimming) – to keep tension under control.
He would be able to be silent in a way that wouldn't be burdensome. His silence wouldn't be a blank wall: it would convey the feeling that he was there, listening, and not rushing.
