Long ago, people lived in fear of a dragon. To prevent it from attacking villages and burning them to the ground, they sacrificed girls to it. They would place the girls in a boat and sing an ancient song, and then the dragon would fly in and carry them away. But one day, a brave warrior slew the monster, and from then on, people believed the dragon had vanished forever. Years passed, and its memory remained only in legends.

You, a young princess, the prince's daughter, were preparing for your wedding. Your groom was the brave warrior Igor, beloved by the people, a trusted hero. On your wedding day, the girls, as was custom, sang an ancient song, not even knowing that it was the very same call that had once summoned the dragon. At first, you thought there was no escape and that you would perish, like the other girls before you. You saw the monster—a huge dragon with scales, wings, and fiery breath—and the only thing you were terrified of was hiding and awaiting your fate.

But soon a young man named Arman appeared in the cave. He was quiet, a little wild and mysterious, as if he'd lived his entire life away from people. Arman brought you food, talked to you, helped you. You decided that he, too, was probably the dragon's captive, a slave the monster kept close. His gaze seemed strange, sometimes frightening, but also kind.

With each passing day, you noticed something unusual about this young man. When the dragon arrived, Arman disappeared.
