Repulsor Cannon: Similar to the Mark L, Stark can materialize large openings around his hands to increase the power of his repulsor blasts, which were strong enough to stagger and stop Cull Obsidian long enough for Spider-Man and Ant-Man to defeat him.

Nanobot Relocation: This suit, like the Mark L, can relocate nanobots from other tools, offensive or otherwise, created by Stark. He used this relocation ability to repair his broken helmet several times in the battle against Thanos and to steal the Infinity Stones from the 2014 Thanos variant without him noticing, but leaving Thanos still in possession of the Nano Gauntlet.

Unibeam: Like all previous armors, the Mark LXXXV is capable of firing an energy blast directly from its central arc reactor.

Lasers: This laser system is the most advanced to date, as Stark was able to use nanotechnology to integrate lasers into the fingertips of the Mark LXXXV and melt the metal casing that concealed the Tesseract. He also used it during the Battle of Earth against the Outriders.

Energy Shields: Stark could use the Mark LXXXV's functions to create a solid blue light shield, very similar to the energy cloaks of the Wakandan Border Tribe or Phil Coulson's Energy Shield. He used it to protect himself and Clint Barton when Hulk used the Infinity Stones to resurrect the victims of the Snap.

Nanobot Manipulation: Like the Mark L, the Mark LXXXV was programmed to allow Tony Stark to control and reconfigure the nanobots that make up his armor, enabling him to create various weapons and tools he used in his final crusade against the Mad Titan. Presumably, it could create all the weapons and tools the Mark L could, and even more.

Nanobot Spray: The suit also included a nanobot spray launcher that could be used to numb parts of the body and reduce pain. Unlike the Mark L's Zero Cannons, the spray was not wrist-mounted, but rather palm-mounted, like the repulsors.

Refocusing Beams: The suit generates six energy-absorbing panels on its back to greatly increase the power of its repulsors. When charged, the panels can also function as repulsors. Stark used it to absorb Thor's lightning and then attack with a total of eight repulsor blasts, all at once. The blasts were powerful enough to force Thanos back, allowing him to defend himself with his sword.

Superhuman strength: The Mark LXXXV is the strongest armor ever created by Stark, as it was able to physically attack Thanos and even withstand a fight for the Nano Gauntlet long enough to change the Gauntlet's nanobots to steal the Infinity Gems despite Thanos' physical power completely surpassing the Mark L.

Superhuman Durability: The Mark LXXXV is the most durable and resilient armor ever created by Tony Stark. It withstood Thanos's attacks far better than the Mark L armor, remaining functional until the very end. The suit allowed Stark to survive an accidental blow from Mjølnir, though he was briefly rendered unconscious. Its most notable feat of durability was its ability to contain all the Infinity Stones, even allowing Stark to harness their collective power, regardless of energy leakage within the armor itself. However, the suit offers no protection against the stones' energy as the Infinity Gauntlet, which ultimately led to Stark's death shortly after he activated his own version of the Snap and eradicated Thanos and his army from existence.

Repulsors: Like the Mark L, the Mark LXXXV is equipped with repulsors that can fire high-intensity energy beams and fly at incredible speeds. It is also capable of providing propulsion in deep space and performing repulsor-powered melee attacks, such as punches and kicks, in close combat. The repulsors can be greatly enhanced if the suit absorbs enough energy with its Nano Lightning Refocuser, which forces Thanos to retreat.

Cluster cannon:
An extremely powerful energy beam, created by combining two ion cannons that emerge from openings around the suit's hands, and four additional cannons that emerge from the back and float on either side of the armor, totaling six shots that converge at a single point to form a powerful blue energy beam. It is presumed to be the suit's most powerful weapon, with enough force to launch Cull Obsidian through the air and down an entire street.

Swords: For melee combat and slashing attacks, Stark can materialize bladed weapons. Stark can materialize a longsword, which he used in an attempt to attack Ebony Maw, but was stopped by Cull Obsidian's hammer. Stark can also materialize large energy swords, which are hand-held and charged with repulsor energy, using them in his fight against Thanos. Stark can materialize a katar from his wrist, a dagger-like blade. He used it as a last resort against Thanos, but the Titan broke it and used it against Stark.

Battering rams:
The Mark L armor can materialize extremely dense, pressure-activated hammers. Larger battering rams can be created by combining two limbs. They are powerful enough to defeat Thanos.

Power Hammer: A laser-guided, energy-charged repulsor hammer that formed from his hand. It was the only weapon capable of making Thanos bleed, though the damage was minimal.

Pincers: The suit is capable of generating magnetic structures that adhere to metallic surfaces. These can form from the hands, as when Stark used one to attach himself to the Q ship on Ebony Maw.
Gauntlet Restriction: A situational tool. Stark created a structure designed to prevent Thanos from making a fist and using the Infinity Gauntlet. It worked initially, but Thanos destroyed it with his bare right hand.

Foot propulsion:
To gain an extra boost, Stark can combine the nanobots in his feet to form a single thruster. This allows him to increase his flight speed several times over, propelling him to hypersonic speeds that enable him to escape Earth's gravity and reach space. Stark used this ability to propel himself forward in pursuit of the Q ship.

Wings: Stark can materialize four small, wing-like structures on the back of his suit for added assistance during flight. The wings have their own thrusters and are useful for hovering. This feature can replace the repulsorlift stabilization maneuver Stark uses with his hands, freeing them up while flying. Similar to the foot thrusters, they can also be used to increase thrust, albeit on a smaller scale. Stark used them during the battle on Titan and in his one-on-one fight with Thanos to gain extra momentum for his battering ram, combined with the thrust of his feet.

Shields:
The suit can generate nanotechnology shields to protect itself from attacks. There are at least three types of shields, of varying sizes. A small rectangular one was used to block Cull Obsidian, and a medium circular one was used moments later in the same battle. Iron Man used a large rectangular one to block a direct energy blast from Thanos's Power Stone during their confrontation on Titan.

Repulsor Cannon: Stark could materialize large openings around his hands to increase the power of his repulsor beams and blasts, powering them up to the point where they could cleanly slice through trees and make Cull Obsidian's highly resistant skin glow with heat. He could summon a larger, more powerful version of these weapons, which materialized a heavy energy cannon around his hand, generating an electric arc within it. Although never used, it was presumed to have easily killed Drax.

Extreme portability: The suit can manifest from the new detachable Arc reactor, which also functions as a nanoparticle container. It can be deployed in "Limited" mode, forming only the gauntlet and, potentially, any other part of the operator's body, depending on the situation.

External deployment of nanostructures: It is very likely that the suit will be able to fire part of its armor material to form structures that allow it to perform a wide variety of tasks.

Integration of foreign objects: The armor's advanced nanoparticles allow for the integration and use of foreign objects, such as the Infinity Stones. The armor's design can be modified to allow for safe use, or the particles can be used to move the object to the desired location.

Integrated shoulder micromissile launchers: Similar to the Mark L armor, the Mark LXXXV can integrate micromissile launchers into its shoulder pads and gauntlets. These feature advanced, high-powered explosive warheads that offer greater effectiveness compared to the basic nanotech suit.

Medical suture spray: A special spray of unknown composition, stored in the suit's gauntlets, that helps seal and heal wounds more quickly. It is deployed from the fingertips of the gauntlet.

Zero Cannons: Liquid nitrogen-based cannons on the back of the gauntlets similar to those used on the Mark L.

Tony Stark is an extremely complex person, because behind his image as an arrogant, joking, and egocentric billionaire lies someone far more sensitive and intelligent than he appears. His personality is primarily defined by his immense intelligence, his self-confidence, and his constant need to be in control. Tony is often sarcastic, provocative, and uses humor even in dangerous or emotionally difficult situations. He frequently makes jokes to unsettle others, relieve tension, or simply because it's easier for him to laugh than to show what he truly feels. Essentially, he developed sarcasm as a defense mechanism. Humans go to therapy; Tony builds robots and makes cutting remarks.

He is also incredibly proud and can come across as selfish. He is used to being the center of attention and is so confident in his own intelligence that he sometimes believes no one else can solve problems as well as he can. However, his arrogance doesn't mean he is incapable of recognizing his mistakes. When he realizes he has caused harm, he can feel deep guilt and become obsessed with finding a solution. This obsession is one of his most defining characteristics: Tony always wants to prevent future tragedies, even when it leads him to make questionable decisions.

Despite his carefree appearance, Tony is emotionally vulnerable. He struggles to express his feelings directly and often hides fear, sadness, or insecurity behind jokes and confident demeanor. He finds it difficult to fully trust others, but when he comes to care for someone, he can be incredibly protective and loyal. He is willing to risk a great deal for the people he considers family.

Tony is also impulsive and extremely curious. He always wants to create, improve, or discover something new because his mind practically never stops working.

Armor capabilities
Super strength: The armor amplifies the user's base strength and combat abilities to extreme levels. It was used in hand-to-hand combat against Thanos.

Durability: The armor is extremely durable, capable of withstanding explosions and extremely powerful blows, as well as being completely bulletproof.

Hermetically sealed: Like its predecessor, the suit is capable of containing and separating the internal environment (including the wearer) from the external environment. This includes both underwater and space environments. The suit can also self-supplie the wearer with breathable air if the external environment cannot reliably provide it.

Anti-phase technology: The armor possesses a completely sealed surface, muscle layer, and mind-control layer, making it impossible for beings with size-reduction abilities or technology (such as Ant-Man or the Wasp) to infiltrate and disable its systems. The suit's defense system can adapt the vibration frequency of its nanoparticles to prevent beings with intangibility abilities or technology from infiltrating the armor.

Surface Reform/Increase: The suit is capable of forming external modules that include a beam concentrator and different shapes of blades and energy shields.

Limited Deployment Mode: The suit's segmented design allows parts of the armor (such as the gauntlet) to be deployed when stealth is required.

Hyperspeed Flight: The Mark LXXXV, like its predecessor, can achieve full-power hyperspeed flight thanks to extremely powerful thrusters formed from both boots. The armor is most likely capable of traveling at speeds of Mach 10 or higher.

Suit segmentation
Unlike the basic nanotechnology armor (Mark L), which was multi-layered and a single piece, the Iron Man Mark LXXXV features a segmented design (separate armor pieces). When deployed from the Arc Reactor, the suit forms in pieces over the operator's body. Once the body portion of the suit has completed the forming process, the armor pieces conform to the operator's body. This form of nanoconstruction allows the armor to be deployed in "limited deployment mode" when stealth is required. However, this function is only used when deploying or deforming the armor or parts of it (such as the helmet for clear vision, in which case the faceplate moves upward and begins to deform along with the rest of the helmet). The armor modules are formed as a single, solid piece, just like the basic nanotechnology armor.

Neurological control interface
The Mark LXXXV is controlled by neurointerface circuitry located at the rear of the arc reactor and in the innermost shield layer. As with its predecessor, the operator does not require an internet connection or AI support to operate the shield at full capacity.

Armor
The armor incorporates even more advanced nanotechnology than its predecessor, which not only forms modules but also allows the suit to generate energy fields. Its composition consists of smart gold and titanium nanoparticles, giving it greater adaptability, durability, power, and flexibility.

Deformable
The suit can be deployed and disintegrated in seconds. The Mark LXXXV is stored inside the detachable, heart-shaped Arc Reactor. The Mark LXXXV can be deployed or disintegrated while wearing casual clothing and can be worn under garments such as T-shirts. It does not require specialized clothing, unlike the base nanotechnology suit, as the particles pass through the fabric and deploy on the other side. Upon deployment, the suit forms armor plates with small openings. Once a portion of the armor is fully formed, the pieces close up similarly to the Mark XLVII. The entire donning process takes 2.6 seconds.

The suit features a classic gold and red color scheme, with gold sections on the thighs, arms, stomach, face, and shoulder pads, accented with red details. The silver exostructure is exposed throughout the armor, connecting the various pieces. The Mark LXXXV has 15 RTs in total (14 Micro-RTs on the upper part of the armor and one main heart-shaped RT on the chest). When not deployed, the HUD can be operated using nanotechnology-enabled augmented reality (AR) goggles (touch control). The helmet incorporates an updated head-up display (HUD) with a targeting reticle and additional information displays. The helmet also features a movable faceplate (last seen on the Mark XLVII).

The Mark LXXXV (Mark 85) is Tony Stark's eighty-fifth, final, and definitive Iron Man armor. It is equipped with an enhanced nanostructure and is significantly more durable and combat-efficient than its base model, the Mark L. The armor appeared in Avengers: Endgame as his current suit in 2023.

His expertise extends to his ingenuity in dealing with difficult situations, such as formidable enemies and deadly traps, where he is able to use the available tools, including his suit, in unorthodox but effective ways. He is highly respected in the business world, capable of captivating audiences when speaking about economic matters, and over the years he has built several multi-billion dollar companies from virtually nothing. He is noted for the loyalty he commands and reciprocates from those who work for him, as well as for his strong business ethics. Thus, he immediately fired an employee who made profitable, but illegal, sales to Doctor Doom.[21] He strives to be environmentally responsible in his business dealings.

At one point, when Stark was unable to use his armor for a period, he received some combat training from Captain America and has become physically formidable on his own when the situation demands it.[100] In addition, Stark possesses a keen eye for business and politics. On multiple occasions, he has regained control of his companies after losing them in the midst of corporate takeovers.[101]
