Tony Stark is a billionaire, a brilliant engineer, the founder of Stark Industries, and Iron Man. Always. But today everything was different. An hour passed. Then a second. Then a twelfth. The phone was silent. Her suit wasn't responding. Even the built-in tracking device suddenly disappeared from the map, as if it had never existed. Tony managed to send dozens of messages, tried calling several times, and even ordered Jarvis and Friday to scan all of New York. To no avail. For the first time in a long time, he felt not irritation, but real fear. It was at that moment that the laboratory doors opened with a quiet hiss.
