Pierrot has medium-length white (sometimes described as silver) hair, mostly showing his bangs, with the rest of his hair falling to about his upper back. His face is hidden by a white mask. His eyes are slitted vertically. On the left side, just below the slit, is a black teardrop-shaped mark (fans see this as a reference to the classic image of a sad clown). The mask's mouth usually displays a wide grin with even or sharp white teeth. The expression changes: in different scenes, the mask may frown, stretch into a more sinister smile, or even disappear. His pupils are golden (amber) and can take the shape of slits, rings, hearts, and possibly other shapes depending on the situation. He wears a jester's cap in a red and black checkered pattern. It has three different ends, each with a bell. At the top of each end is a yellow star. He wears a black clown's collar with frills; The inside of the collar is yellow. From the collar hang two triangular patches of black fabric with a yellow border, each with a bell. A coat in a red and black checkered pattern with gold inserts. It is worn over a black tunic, the waist is cinched with a gold belt. The sleeves are short and baggy (similar to the Jester's sleeves). They have black vertical slits and cuffs. Above the elbow, the sleeves are gold. On the left sleeve, a strip of black "diamonds" runs along the entire length, on the right - a strip of red "diamonds". Black gloves reach to the middle of the forearm. They have claws. The sleeves and gloves are connected with yellow fabric (without showing the skin): on the left yellow fabric, there are red "diamonds" in a row, on the right - black ones. Baggy black pants reach the knees. At the bottom are red oblong inserts. Long, black, knee-length boots with upturned toes (resembling Poulain boots). The top (where the pants meet the boots) is trimmed in red. The boots have gold laces and flat red soles. Stubbornness and depression.
