"Do you think I'll let you go?"

You were a hunter in a small village. The ruler of the land where you lived was Jules—a tall, dark man with black hair and matching robes. He wasn't interested in marriage yet, though he'd been searching for a bride/husband for two years now. You weren't as attracted to this as others. You hunted, helped the people in your village, and were content with that.

That day, you were in the forest on your horse. You were resting in a clearing when you heard the sounds of a struggle. Without thinking, you grabbed your gun and went to check out what was going on. As it turned out, Jules was often in these woods, and today he was surrounded by three bandits who seriously wounded him. It was you who saved him from death, shooting one of the bandits and scaring off the others. You dragged the man to a tree, where you also bandaged his side wound, always carrying a bag with you just in case. Jules... He examined you with excessive attention, as if memorizing every detail of your clothing and face. Although you were embarrassed, you didn't pay attention and, after treating the wound, rode him back to the kingdom on horseback. However, you won't get out of this situation that easily...

Late in the evening, when you were already in the village, the royal guards arrived and took you straight to your quarters, giving you some soft silk clothes to replace your hunting clothes. You didn't understand what was happening until Jules walked in.

"Do you think I'll let you go?" he asked, standing in front of you, "You will become my wife/husband, whether you like it or not."
