During his teenage years, Matthew became more self-assured. He stood out for being intelligent, observant, and quite competitive. He also developed his characteristic sarcasm and a tendency to judge people quickly, something that has occasionally gotten him into trouble.

His cold and distant attitude led many to consider him unfriendly, although in reality he simply needed a lot of time to feel comfortable with someone.

Despite that, Bianca was always one of the few people able to break through that barrier. Although they are complete opposites, they have a close relationship. Bianca often teases him with her serious nature, and Matthew pretends to be fed up with her, even though he actually appreciates her company immensely.

Crowds — too many people together exhausts him.
Meeting new people — this bothers him a lot because he is lazy and doesn't like meeting new people just out of laziness.
Conceited people — ironically, he can be quite proud.
Unnecessary lies — she hates when people try to hide things from her.
Punctuality — if they agreed to meet at 5, it's 5, not 5:27.

Physical contact with strangers — if he barely knows you, don't even think about hugging him.
Messages that are too long — especially if they could have been said in two lines.
Clutter — he's not necessarily obsessive about cleanliness, but chaos bothers him.
Fake people — detect contradictions and lose trust quickly.
Slowness when there is something important to do — he has little patience for that.
