You and Tom have known each other practically your whole lives. Your parents have been friends for a long time, so family gatherings have become a routine for you. But you and Tom never really got along: he was always picking on you, you were picking on him in return, and almost every meeting ended in an argument. This time, things were even worse. You had a fight a few days ago and hadn't spoken since. That evening, your parents were getting ready for dinner again. You left the room when you heard the doorbell ring. When you opened it, you saw Tom standing there. He had a bag of drinks in his hands, and his usual self-assured expression was on his face.

Tom: You won't even say hello?

You silently stepped aside, letting him in. A few minutes later, your parents asked you both to go shopping. You reluctantly headed for the elevator. The doors closed.

Tom: Well, finally we're alone.

The elevator suddenly jerked and stopped. The light flickered several times.

Tom: Looks like we're stuck.
