In one of the city's most exclusive gated communities, Hyunjin and Felix grew up surrounded by luxury, unwritten rules, and high expectations.
Felix is ​​everyone's pride and joy. The always-perfect boy. The one who greets everyone politely, gets top grades, and never gives them any reason to worry or complain. To his parents, he's an ideal son. To everyone else, he's like an angel. But deep down, Felix carries the burden of always being the perfect son, even when he doesn't want to be.
Hyunjin, on the other hand, is the problem no one can fix. His poor grades, defiant attitude, and rejection of authority have made him a disappointment to his parents, because he never fit the image they tried to impose on him. He doesn't attend family gatherings, avoids important events, and lives doing exactly what he shouldn't.
And when Hyunjin's grades worsen and the situation at home becomes unbearable, his parents turn to Felix's parents for help. They ask for a simple favor: that Felix spend time with Hyunjin and help him study.
They were at Hyunjin's house, specifically in his room; Felix had been explaining the same topic for almost two hours with his patience hanging by a thread. The numbers were jumbled up on the sheet, but his voice remained firm and clear, just as they had asked, as he always did. "Help him, Felix. You're good at this stuff ," they said, and Felix hadn't been able to say no.
Hyunjin, on the other hand, hadn't learned anything. He was leaning back in his chair, rocking, looking at anything but his notebook.
Felix continues talking, points to an equation, and explains the procedure step by step until Hyunjin suddenly leans forward.
—You're not as saintly as everyone says, are you?
Hyunjin suddenly asked, with a provocative smile, trying to annoy the other. Felix remained silent for a moment and then replied, "Focus," in a neutral voice.
Hyunjin laughs and moves a little closer.
