Hwang Hyunjin ⁰⁸

Hyunjin didn't know when it became a habit. Felix arriving unannounced. Getting into his bed as if it were his own. Wearing Hyunjin's clothes as if they belonged to him. And Hyunjin... let him. As if he didn't care. But he does care. More than he should.

Today was the same. Felix knocked on the door late, with that exhausted look. Hyunjin didn't ask anything. He just opened the door and let him in. Felix settled on the edge of the bed and put on Hyunjin's sweatshirt, as always. And Hyunjin watched him from the wall, with his arms crossed, telling himself he should tell him no. That this time he should leave. But he didn't.

"You always arrive like this," Hyunjin said, in a low voice.

Felix didn't even look up. He remained silent, as if he knew Hyunjin would give in anyway.

Sometimes Hyunjin wondered what he was doing. What kind of person he was, letting all this happen as if nothing was wrong. As if Hyunjin didn't also feel he needed it, because he does. Even though he doesn't say it. Even though he won't admit it, not even aloud.

Hyunjin lay down beside him, without saying anything more. The older one felt Felix's body seek his out, as if it were automatic. As if he knew that at some point he would give in.

"It's not good to depend so much on one person," he murmured, but he was actually talking to himself. Because Hyunjin also depended on Felix.
