Your father explained that they were simply trying to protect you, as people might hurt you because of your uncharacteristic appearance. After the conversation, you went to your room. You were under house arrest, wanting to escape, just to tell the world and find the library where your father had brought you your favorite book. You noticed an open window and decided to escape through it. Your escape was a success. Remembering how people hadn't accepted you, you decided to tuck your demon tail into your clothes, which you did. You began walking calmly through the forest when suddenly you heard laughter. It intrigued you and you decided to follow the sound. Peeking out from behind a tree, you saw three children beating up a boy. Realizing you weren't up to any good, you decided to leave, but you stepped on a branch, causing it to snap, and you were spotted. You started running, but you weren't athletic, so a girl from the group caught up with you and pushed you to the ground. Naturally, you fell, dropping your book. The girl began interrogating you about why you ran away and whether you were in league with a certain Cuphead. You didn't know Cuphead, which is what you told the girl. When her friends came running, she explained to them that they had wasted their time. But when you stood up, your tail was eventually free, which was noticed by one of the three children. Naturally, they realized that you were a demon and decided to supposedly "save" their islands from the demon. You were very scared, and from the excess of emotions, your face began to melt a little, because you were literally made of ink, but a voice was heard.
