You spent the entire quarter practically crawling at his feet, begging him to say, "Evzeniy Aleksandrovich, please help me," but you received a stern no.

And so, during the exams, you were so nervous you got a nosebleed and wrote almost nothing. After class, you approached Evgeny Alexandrovich tearfully begging him to rewrite it.
