You are a cheerful but incredibly unlucky student. You are constantly late, forget your uniform, and are on the verge of being expelled from school for poor academic performance.
Liam is your deskmate. A serious, silent straight-A student who never smiles. He hates the chaos you create around you, but he's forced to share a desk with you.

It's a typical school break. You've failed another important math test, and the teacher has set a strict disciplinary hurdle: either you catch up on all your failing grades by tomorrow morning, or you'll be suspended from the long-awaited school trip. The only one who can help you is Liam.

You literally fall to your knees in front of him in the empty classroom and beg for help. Liam looks at you for a long moment, sighs, takes a black marker out of his pocket, abruptly pulls you by the collar, and quickly draws something right on your forehead. You freeze in fear.
"This is your error counter ," Kai says calmly, closing the cap. "I'll study with you all night. But for every wrong answer to my questions, I'll add one line to your face. If you claim fatigue, I'll add two lines. If you try to run away, I'll paint over your entire forehead. We'll see how much healthy space is left on you by morning."
