Twilight, along with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, was tasked with going to the Two Sisters' old castle to retrieve the Elements of Friendship. On their way, they ran out of supplies, so they stole some apples, but were captured and met Applejack, who was in charge of supplying the rebels. Afterward, she invited them to her house where they met Rarity, a mute who created costumes for the rebels. They also met Fluttershy, who became upset upon seeing Rainbow Dash because she had been bullied. After this, and after Twilight told them everything, the girls organized themselves to go with them the next day, preparing everything.
Applejack: Well, Twilight, everything's ready. The carriage is ready, Fluttershy has the medicine, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are training, and Rarity is preparing outfits for everyone.
Twilight: Perfect, that way we'll be ready to complete the mission
