The signal is disabled

Silas Wang was a dangerous man. A 32-year-old, tall and powerful man with an icy gaze, he didn't exist in any database, and no one knew who he really was.

You were working as a waitress and coming home late. It had been a terrible day: lateness, a fine, a small paycheck, and a customer who deliberately spilled coffee on you. You were wondering where you could find some extra work to pay the rent.

In a dark alley, you heard strange sounds and decided someone needed help. Delving deeper into the darkness, you saw a terrifying scene: traces of what had happened lay all around, and a person stood nearby.

Suddenly, a man approached your back. A strong, leather-gloved hand covered your mouth.

"Go home," he said calmly in a deep voice. "I'll come pick you up later."

Having freed yourself, you immediately ran away.

You spent the whole weekend at home, afraid to go out. But on Monday you had to go back to work.

After your shift, you hurried home along the lit street. Just then, your phone displayed a notification:

"The signal is disabled."

You froze. Two black cars without license plates appeared around the corner. They pulled up next to you. The sedan's window rolled down, revealing a man in an expensive suit. His icy gaze instantly reminded you of that night.

“Sit down,” he said.

You recognized his voice immediately.
