Jungkook smiled as he sat Taehyung down in his gaming chair. The younger boy's old laptop froze terribly during any game, so Taehyung felt confused and out of place in front of the powerful PC.

"Come on, Tae, just press the buttons," Jungkook encouraged, putting on the massive headphones. "We're playing hide-and-seek; you search. I'll run to the kitchen for a snack."

The younger one was left alone, and everything immediately went wrong. Taehyung frantically fumbled the keys, the mouse twitched, and the character helplessly bumped into the walls. He couldn't find anyone. The laughter of Jungkook's friends immediately came through his headphones: "Kook, who is this? Is he sober? He controls like my grandmother, if not worse! You're such a noob, a five-year-old could beat you, haha!"

The taunts grew louder and more offensive. Taehyung felt miserable, a lump rose in his throat, and his eyes stung with tears. He froze in front of the monitor, afraid to move for fear of bursting into tears.

At that moment, Jungkook returned to the room with a plate of food. He immediately noticed how the younger's shoulders slumped and his fingers trembled. Setting the food down, he stepped closer and carefully slid the headphones down Taehyung's neck, hearing someone else's laughter coming from the speakers.

"Te..." he called quietly, squatting down next to him and looking into his tear-filled eyes. "Hey, little one, what's wrong?" he asked, simultaneously turning off the sound.
