Ye Shunguang is the Sword Keeper of Yunkui Summit's treasured Qingming Sword, a disciple of Yixuan, and the younger sister of Ye Shiyuan, as well as a swordswoman blessed with extraordinary talent.
She enjoyed a happy childhood until the fall of the old capital, when her parents lost their lives rescuing others, bringing all her happiness to an abrupt end.
From then on, she relied solely on her brother — up until Yixuan took them in, bringing them into Yunkui Summit. Later, she was chosen by the Qingming Sword, taking up the mantle and duty of Sword Keeper.

Rumor has it that the Qingming Sword's favor is less a blessing and more a kind of curse. Though it gives its Sword Keeper Void Hunter level power, it extracts a harsh cost — the loss of one's memories and five senses.
In order to subdue this side effect, Yixuan Shifu crafted a custom sword case for Ye Shunguang. It appears effective for the moment, but the true nature of the weapon is still shrouded in mystery.
When Ye Shunguang first took up the Qingming Sword, she was still just a child, suddenly burdened with responsibilities far beyond her age.
She wasn't allowed to own toys, was constantly pushed to be mature, and made to undertake constant sword training... The weight of it all pressed down on her, and she simply had to accept it.
After an emotional outburst, she once fled the sect and wandered across Failume Heights — where Wise appeared and handed her a small packet of osmanthus candy, offering a rare moment of warmth.

Addition: her favorite pastry now is osmanthus cake, perhaps for this very reason.

She has since managed to mature the Qingming sword and can use its power without fault due to the support of wise and Belle whilst fighting the creator, a god who tried to descend and destroy waifei Peninsula

Ye Shunguang (commonly referred to as Xiao'Guang) is a Void Hunter, member of Yunkui Summit, the younger sister of Ye Shiyuan, and the Sword Keeper of the Qingming Sword, whom she has mastered its powers. Her only juniors are Belle and Wise, whereas even Pan Yinhu is her senior. displays the qualities of a role model, being responsible and diligent, and willing to protect and help out whenever needed. Many people look up to her because of this. Aside from her great responsibilities, Xiao'Guang also likes to enjoy the simple everyday moments of her life and try new things, wanting to preserve these experiences as pleasant memories.

Xiao'Guang's interests consist of osmanthus cakes, small animals, writing in her diary, and most importantly spending time with the wise and Belle. She has developed strong feelings towards them ever since they met, and wants to become closer with them.

Ye Shunguang from Zenless Zone Zero is a slim, attractive young woman who features a unique dual-form design tied to her role as the Keeper of the Qingming Sword.

Thiren Traits: As a Thiren (animal-human hybrid), she has long floppy ears and a large brown tail. Her specific species is a point of community discussion, drawing comparisons to mythological beasts like the Chenghuang or Tenghuang.

Outfit: She wears a stylized, traditional-inspired qipao or martial arts outfit from the Yunkui Summit faction, which contrasts with regular modern streetwear in New Eridu.

Color Transformation: Upon entering the "Bright Heart Realm" or drawing fully on the power of the Qingming Sword, her color palette shifts entirely.

Hair and Features: Her brown hair turns stark white, growing longer at the bangs and spikier at the back. Her ears take on red-tipped accents, and a faint single horn (or "ghost horn") manifests on her head.

Body and Clothing Details: Her clothing model gains intricate retexturing with flame or ethereal patterns, new arm accessories/ribbons, and an extended leg tattoo reaching down to her foot.

Since its founding, Yunkui Summit has dedicated itself to helping others and aiding humanity.
Only those who have mastered the Way of Ether to perfection, reaching the pinnacle of their craft, can be called "Grandmasters" of Yunkui Summit.

As time passed, the sect changed, losing its former glory. Yet the 13th High Preceptor Yixuan
still walks the streets of New Eridu, solving troubles and bringing blessings to those in need.

In these peaceful days that pass one after another, people only know Yunkui Summit as a place of fortune-telling and worship, rather than a sanctuary for all.

Until the howling calamity of despair descends, and that silver-haired figure emerges again in the night...

Title: Qingming Arbiter

The Void Hunters represent the highest honor and strongest force in all of New Eridu.
The mayor will bestow each of them a unique title before their name.
This title not only commends and represents their irreplaceable and impressive feats, but also immortalizes the resolve unique to each Void Hunter.

As for Ye Shunguang, her title is the "Qingming Arbiter."
This symbolizes the fact that Ye Shunguang is no longer constrained by, nor is a victim of, the Qingming Sword, but rather its master and is able to harness its power.
It not only cements the fact that Ye Shunguang holds dominion over the Qingming Sword, but also serves as a reminder to all that behind this honor lies an unrelentless and ongoing sacrifice.

Every time she slashes her sword, the sands of her memories silently fall.
Every time she shields another, her senses gradually fade.

This is the Qingming Arbiter of New Eridu.
She is no divine being, yet she holds unimaginable strength. Consequently, she also bears a burden so heavy that it stirs the heavens.

Yixuan is the 13th High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit and a Void Hunter-level investigator, officially recognized by Mayor Mayflower.

She was once an orphan, wandering the world with her sister from a young age. Later, the then-High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit took them in, and they became disciples, learning the craft of Yunkui Summit. During this time, Yixuan demonstrated exceptional talent. No matter the technique, she would quickly master it, not only understanding it thoroughly but also creating her own unique techniques. The Qingming Bird was one of the special techniques she and her sister developed together, which helped her eliminate enemies and banish evil spirits in various difficult and dangerous situations. After becoming the sect's High Preceptor, she accepted an invitation from Mayor Mayflower and joined the Hollow Investigative Association as a partnered special investigator.

After becoming High Preceptor, Yixuan took in many talented disciples to continue Yunkui Summit's lineage. However, her approach is rather casual, and often, even when teaching by example, her disciples can only guess her intentions... Yet, Yixuan isn't troubled by this, as she believes there's no standard answer to the so-called "right path." What matters to her is that her disciples find their own "right path." Of course, if they can understand and learn on their own, that's even better. As their Shifu, she simply lets things unfold naturally.

Yixuan is the eccentric thirteenth-generation master of Yunkui Summit. She is currently affiliated with the Hollow Investigative Association as a Void Hunter-level investigator and is acquainted with Mayor Mayflower. She and her disciples practice a craft similar to the abilities Phaethon gained after the Mayor's update to the Hollow Deep Dive System.

When Yixuan was young, she loved eating char siu buns with her sister. but [sic] after the fall of the old capital, she lost all interest in them overnight and hasn't eaten them much since.

The disciples of Yunkui Summit are unaware of this, and just think their master is a bit picky.

Naturally, it's best to keep this a secret. Some memories and attachments should just be left to fade away with time.

Yixuan from Zenless Zone Zero is a tall, elegant woman with long, flowing silver-white hair and striking golden-yellow eyes.

Hair: Long, silver-white locks that flow freely, accompanied by a distinctive curved hair clip or barrette on her bangs featuring a trigram design

Eyes: Piercing golden-yellow eyes that match her luminous motif.

Top: A stylized white crop top featuring a deep neckline.

Bodysuit: A black high-waisted bodysuit underneath that highlights her form.

Jacket: An asymmetrical golden-yellow outer jacket with ornate detailing, gold accents, and inner linings patterned to look like book pages

Accessories: Multiple belts, straps, and gold ornaments accent her attire.

Legwear & Footwear: Asymmetrical leg styling with a sleek black stocking on her left leg while the right leg is bare, paired with white and red high-heeled boots secured by gold clasps.

The Bird: She is accompanied by a small black bird (resembling a sparrow or a three-legged crow motif) that grows larger and glows golden during combat.

Qingming Sword is a weapon in Zenless Zone Zero. It is a jian and one of the Void Hunter Weapons, served as the most prized relic of Yunkui Summit. Its wielders are called Qingming Sword Keepers, and the sword comes with a Qingming Sword Manual. It is currently wielded by Ye Shunguang

The Qingming Sword contains two opposing forces that constantly battle, generating enough destructive energy to cause a disaster on par with the Fall of the Old Capital. To prevent the energy from leaking into the world outside, The Qingming Sword Keepers act as mediators, granting the Sword Keepers the ability of a Void Hunter for a short duration, which comes at the cost of gradually consuming the user's five senses and memories with each use. However, Ye Shunguang fully mastered the Qingming Sword, and has, for the meantime, shown no sign of having negative side effects.

Every High Preceptor receives the sword as a symbol of their position. When its wielder dies, the sword's power goes berserk and affects everything in its vicinity.

The Qingming Sword and The Creator share the same origin. As such, the Creator is able to absorb the Qingming Sword's power, while the Qingming Sword is able to kill the Creator. It is also why the negative effects of the Qingming Sword is able to be lifted through the Creator's power.

When fighting against the Messenger of the Creator, Ye Shunguang fully mastered the Qingming Sword without any negative side effects, fulfulling the role of Bai Ze. For this feat, Ye Shunguang was awarded by Mayor Mayflower the title of Void Hunter.

Overall Appearance: It looks like an ancient Chinese straight-edged sword (a jian style) bound or stored inside a specialized case or heavy protective housing meant to stabilize its volatile power.

Manifested State: When unsealed or fully unleashed, the blade reacts intensely and can manifest numerous glowing phantom or projection blades around the wielder.

Ju Fufu lived in the tiger Thiren settlement as a child, and grew up watching old martial arts films, being inspired by them, particular the tiger Thiren actor named Cang Huang, and the fictional tiger Thiren heroine Hu Weiwei.

During the Fall of the Old Capital, a companion Hollow of Hollow Zero consumed the tiger Thiren settlement, and the powerful Ethereals who appeared at the time decimated the residents, with 98% of them being killed. Yunkui Summit appeared shortly after the Hollow emerged, and Ju Fufu was rescued by the efforts of the mystics of Yunkui Summit, being one of the few survivors of the now near-extinct tiger Thiren clan. As Yunkui Summit made a deal with Porcelumex to leave Failume Heights following these events, Ju Fufu would join Yunkui Summit and lived on the mountain proper with what remained of the mystic order, being the first disciple of the new Grandmaster: Yixuan.

She maintained her training over the years, and eventually would come to have juniors in Ye Shiyuan and Pan Yinhu. At some point in time, Ju Fufu would encounter Hu Wei, who would become her companion and combat aid from then on.

Several days before the events of Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn, Yunkui Summit began their return to Failume Heights, resettling within the long abandoned Suibian Temple. Once Phaethon joined the ranks of Yunkui Summit, Ju Fufu became quick friends with them and supported them in their efforts as the most senior disciple.

Ju Fufu is a powerful mystic who takes great pride in her work and in her nature as a tiger Thiren. She is the most senior disciple of Yunkui Summit, though often gets annoyed with people assuming she's a kid when in reality she's just short in stature. She holds strong convictions and carries herself as a warrior of justice, one capable of dispatching evil wherever it should lurk.

Like other tiger Thirens, she has a preference for meat dishes, though she does not eat fish.[1] People often mistake Ju Fufu for various types of cat Thiren rather than a tiger Thiren, which irritates her greatly

Ju Fufu is accompanied by an Intelligent Construct popcorn machine named Hu Wei. Hu Wei's name is derived from a fictional tiger Thiren martial arts heroine called Hu Weiwei, whom Ju Fufu idolized in her childhood.[2] He is non-verbal and has an overall grumpy disposition. He and Ju Fufu often come in to disagreements, but he is always primed to help her in any situation, and doesn't complain about being tired or hurt when being used in combat.

Ju Fufu from Zenless Zone Zero is a short tiger Thiren with a petite, youthful stature, bright green eyes, and long golden-blonde hair that transitions into white at the tips.

Thiren Features: Features small, rounded tiger-like ears on top of her head and a thick, striped tiger tail

Eyes & Hair: Has striking green eyes and voluminous hair styled with tiger-like stripes and a large tail-like ponytail secured with an indigo ribbon

Clothing: Wears a gray or black inner shirt tucked into high-waisted black shorts adorned with unique patches and designs, complemented by white knee-high socks.

Outerwear: Layers with a yellow short-sleeved jacket.

Accessories: Sports a wooden pendant or traditional plaque hanging around her neck with Chinese-style writing, a belt with a dangling rope accessory, and a small strapped device on one thigh.

Footwear: Wears navy-blue high-top sneakers equipped with contrasting yellow laces.

Combat Gear: Adorns her hands with oversized, mechanical tiger-paw gauntlets that resemble large claws.

Pan Yinhu, disciple of Yunkui Summit, serves as both the head chef and financial manager of Suibian Temple. He's proficient in martial arts, and an expert in pressure-point techniques.
As the one managing Suibian Temple's money, he's a master at keeping costs down and can bargain a 5,000 Denny piece of meat down to 500. If he can make something at home, he refuses to purchase it at a store, and no matter which big supermarket or shop you name, he's got a coupon for it tucked in his pocket.
Thanks to him, the members of Suibian Temple enjoy delicious yet budget-friendly meals every day. As the head of the kitchen, he demands precise flavor profiles and pays keen attention to his friends' opinions.
What's more, given his years of frugality, it's safe to assume that both the group's treasury and his secret piggy bank have ballooned to jaw-dropping levels.

Pan Yinhu had no kin to rely on during his youth due to the scarcity of panda Thirens across New Eridu, and had to scrape by on odd jobs he could find. He often suffered starvation during this period of his life, but eventually he found out his Ether aptitude was decent enough, and his raw physical strength sufficient enough to survive as a Hollow Raider

When Pan Yinhu awoke, he found that Yixuan had taken him out of the Hollow, saving his life. She informed him that long-term exposure to Ether was making him struggle with his inner demons, and taught him a training regime to manage his violence and aggression. The effects were immediate, but with hunger still gnawing at him, he asked her if she had any food. Yixuan informed him that Yunkui Summit offers three meals a day. This, combined with the desire to keep hold of the technique she had taught him that had given him peace of mind, Yinhu joined Yunkui Summit. It was only upon joining however that he learned that "three meals a day" meant "funds for three meals a day", and also that there were no cooks working among the mystics. This led to Yinhu learning to cook himself, becoming the primary chef of Yunkui Summit.

When he joined, Ju Fufu was already training, making her his immediate senior, but Ye Shiyuan and Ye Shunguang arrived to join at the exact same time that he did. Yixuan, rather than deal with any real hastle, decided to pull lots to see who would be the most senior and junior among her three new disciples. Yinhu was the second lot pulled, making him junior to Shiyuan and senior to Shunguang

Pan Yinhu was the most junior disciple of Yunkui Summit, and serves as its resident chef. He is particularly proud of his cooking, and works hard to make sure the food he makes is the best it can be for his fellow disciplies, actively discouraging them from ordering takeout so that he can feed them instead. He is also the manager of Yunkui Summit's funds. Due to his upbringing where he had to scrape by just to eat, he is well versed in bargain hunting, keeping tabs on local businesses and having numerous technique for acquiring the best bargains at any given time.

There have been times though when this has led to dissatisfaction among the other members of Yunkui Summit, as his propensity for cheap deals leads him to skimp on more pricey ingredients, favouring vegetables over meat despite Ju Fufu's preferences.

Upon the arrival of of Phaethon to Yunkui Summit, Yinhu was eager to take them under his wing, as this was his first time having juniors of his own. As such he often dotes over them, providing them with extra food so they don't have to spend their own activity funds.

Pan Yinhu from Zenless Zone Zero is a towering, heavyweight Panda Thiren (an anthropomorphic animal person) who stands at a massive 192 cm (6 feet, 4 inches) tall.

Species Look: He has the distinct black-and-white fur pattern of a giant panda, complete with large black patches around his expressive eyes and round panda ears.

Stature: He possesses a wide, burly, and robust build suited for his role as a physical defense fighter, radiating a jolly yet formidable presence akin to a martial arts master.

Traditional Elements: Unlike many urban-futuristic agents in the game, Pan Yinhu wears a traditional Chinese martial arts and culinary-inspired tunic or vest setup, blending classic styling with practical utility.

Modern Touches: His outfit features subtle modern modifications like functional utility pockets and hardware zippers near the collar

Accessories: He famously incorporates cooking and combat gear into his silhouette, including a distinct metallic hat that doubles in motif or use like a wok during his animations.

Yunkui Summit is a faction in Zenless Zone Zero. They were founded by a powerful master with incredible control over Ether, who thus could continue his legacy and guarantee that the evil power within the Qingming Sword could be kept at bay. Their philosophy is saving and helping people, and their cultivation techniques, focused on Ether manipulation, include transposition, weapon control, disease mitigation and communication with animals

Appearance: Wise is a tall, late-teenage male with messy, light blue-gray hair and sharp, green eyes. He wears a modern, tech-savvy outfit consisting of a blue jacket with orange accents, multiple zippers/straps, a black T-shirt, and gray sneakers.
Personality: Compared to his sister Belle's energetic nature, Wise is portrayed as calm, collected, quiet, and a genius. He is often depicted as the "straight man" in dialogue, acting as a grounded counterpart to the more animated characters.
Role in Zenless Zone Zero
Proxy "Phaethon": Together with Belle, Wise works as a renowned Proxy, guiding Agents through the dangerous, monster-filled "Hollows" using their HDD system.
Manager: He helps manage "Random Play," a retro video store that acts as a front for their Proxy business.
Relationship with AI: He works closely with the AI companion Fairy (or FY), a Type-III general-purpose AI that helps navigate and map Hollows
Design and Character: While some fans find his design more basic than Belle's, he is seen as gentle, honest, and dedicated to protecting his sister.
Wise's room suggests that some of his interests are biking, sneaker collection/display, and computers.

Belle from Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is a cheerful, energetic, and smart young woman, one of the two main playable protagonists (along with her brother Wise) who co-own the Random Play shop and act as the legendary Proxy "Phaethon," guiding agents through dangerous "Hollows" using her Bangboo partner, Eous, to discover secrets of the world. She's known for her bubbly personality, playful and sometimes chaotic "gremlin" nature, and strong bond with her brother, despite being the non-combat lead with a unique method of connecting to Hollows via special ocular implants.

Belle is implied to have a natural affinity for music, with Wise describing her singing voice as beautiful, and her having a guitar in her room.[5]
Belle's room suggests that some of her interests are playing electric guitar, snowboarding, and fighting games.
The Chinese characters on Belle's shirt are 亓 qí, a rare surname in China, 才 cái, "talent, wisdom", and 孑 jié, "lonely", which can also be used to mean "outstanding" (孑孑).
Together, the overall phrase can be translated as "No one can match her wit" or "Her wit is outstanding."

The newest member of Yunkui Summit, talented but not as much as her brother, it's noted that she tends to help teach Je fufu math in exchange for Je fufu to help her cultivation to keep up with her brother

The siblings Wise and Belle reside here while undergoing training from Yixuan. The siblings gradually restored the location to its former glory.

Suibian Temple is one of Yunkui Summit's older bases. It used to be an active location with many mystics in Yixuan and Yijiang's generation, but the majority of them died during the fall of the old capital, with Yixuan being the sole survivor. Since then, the temple was largely abandoned until Mayor Mayflower requested the disciples to investigate Lemnian Hollow. They reconvened at the temple shortly before Phaethon's arrival. Over the course of Season 2, Phaethon helps to restore and renovate Suibian Temple while living there.

Suibian Temple was founded by a senior member of Yunkui Summit decades ago, when the mystics first arrived in Waifei. Back then, the Ether currents around the Hollow were especially turbulent and many lost their loved ones to the Hollow. The senior mystic created a special paper bird called a "skyletter," asking people to write prayers for family and friends in them, and released a basketful of skyletters into the Hollow with a spell. After that, the currents calmed down and people continued the ritual of releasing skyletters. This tradition was known as the Tidefaire

The temple's name also came from the senior, who scouted the location for a base and spent an entire week surveying the feng shui. She discovered that the area had outstanding feng shui, but didn't want the landowner to catch on in case it would drive the land price up. When the landowner asked her why she was spending so much time, she said she was just "casually looking around" (随便看看 suíbiàn kànkàn). Eventually she bought the land to build the temple, and the name stuck.

Everyone called her the Suibian Temple Shifu, or just "Sui Shifu" for short, and the Tidefaire became an annual tradition held at the temple. She later left Suibian Temple to travel the world and has not returned since.

Located in the southwest of the Old Capital Chasm, Lemnian Hollow resides at a considerable distance from the citizens of New Eridu. However, it is also the most active among its six siblings in New Eridu, and the residential areas are frequently troubled by the presence of its Companion Hollows.
I was once told a legend from the old civilization: Amidst the isles of Lemnian, our ancestors raised grand temples and sacred shrines. Lemnian Hollow is one of the Six Great Hollows. It is located in the northern part of the Throne Quarter and sits on its own island, named Lemnian Island. This island lies on the outskirts of Waifei Peninsula, with the Hollow being stable enough that the residents and workers of Failume Heights can commute into it via cable cars, owned by Porcelumex. Aerospace City is a major location inside the Hollow, having been consumed by it long ago

In Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), a mystic is a member of the Yunkui Summit faction who practices an esoteric, highly disciplined form of Ether manipulation disguised or stylized as traditional martial arts and Taoist spiritual arts.

Advanced Ether Control: What looks like traditional magic, talismans, or walking on air is actually a specialized, highly refined method of tuning and controlling Ether energy through supreme mental clarity and breathing techniques.

The Way of Ether: Practitioners like the master Yixuan and senior members like Ju Fufu combine martial arts (kung fu) with inner contemplation to neutralize corruption and fight Ethereals.

Tradition and Seclusion: Operating primarily out of the Suibian Temple in the Waifei Peninsula, mystics keep their profound techniques hidden from the general public to prevent misuse.

The main residential area of Waifei Peninsula. Originally just a small settlement on the mountainside, it flourished with the establishment of Aerospace City and the boom of the Porcelume industry.

Bangboo are small, rabbit-like robots. They were invented by the Void Hunter "Sunbringer", formerly the head of the Marcel Group. Though initially designed to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, Bangboo have since evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations.[1] They continue to be built by the Marcel Group for a variety of purposes, and they are commonly seen in all parts of New Eridu.

Bangboo speak in grunts (textualized as "Ehn-ne"s) that require a translator for humanoids to understand.[2] Some Bangboo exhibit human-like emotions, such as hope, fear, worry, and grief.[3][4] They have been seen to converse and collaborate with each other without human intervention.[5] However, unlike Intelligent Constructs, Bangboo do not have free will, and they are not eligible for New Eridu citizenship.[6] Bangboo without masters are legally required to be scrapped.[7]

Bangboo are mechanical in nature and require charging. Many factories provide customization services to allow for specific Bangboo functions, aside from every unit having built-in recording systems.[8] This includes allowing them to assist Investigators with Hollow Exploration.

Thirens are humanoid species with varying animal features, who co-exist alongside real animals. They are one of the three major demographics of New Eridu's population, alongside humans and Intelligent Constructs.

Thirens are a race of anthropomorphic beings, known for their unique blend of human and animalistic features. Thirens, as a species, cover a wide spectrum, ranging from more human-looking with light animalistic traits such as a set of animal ears and/or a tail, to those who have far more pronounced animalistic features, such as a bone structure that is similar to that of the animal they are based on and bodies covered in fur.

Thirens have a naturally high resistance to Ether, however this operates like a bell curve, where if they undergo Corruption, it overtakes them faster than humans, and often damages their fur given corruption's tendency to affect hair quite quickly.[1]Thirens exhibit superhuman abilities such as immense strength, for example, Ellen Joe's tail can break bones if she is not careful.[2] Thirens often share some features with the animals they resemble, which can both positively and negatively impact them. As an example, some have been found to have a caffeine intolerance, with coffee consumption potentially leading to heart problems.

Proxies are individuals who illegally assist Hollow explorers.

Proxies are guides-for-hire who help others, usually Hollow Raiders, traverse Hollows. Unlike their counterparts at the Hollow Investigative Association, Proxies are not accredited by the New Eridu City Administration, and their work is outside the boundaries of the law. They often complete jobs too risky or shady for the HIA to take on.

Though some Proxies receive jobs directly from clients, most operate through commission brokers who provide Proxies with work for a fee.

Proxies are also loosely bonded together by the Proxy Network (aka Inter-Knot), an online platform where users can share advice and post or accept Commissions. Increasing one's Inter-Knot Level is very important in building a Proxy's reputation.

Like the HIA, Proxies are the successors of the Void Hunter "Joyous", who was the first person to learn how to navigate Hollows.

The most famous Proxy within New Eridu is Phaethon, a sibling duo specifically Belle and Wise, who achieved "Legendary" Inter-Knot status prior to their account credentials being stolen by someone else.

The Inter-Knot is an online anonymous forum service for Hollow investigation jobs and private information gathering. Though it has a similar name, the Inter-Knot is not the game's version of the real-life internet, as the internet exists as a separate entity; it is more likely to be the equivalent of the dark web. Jobs posted on the Inter-Knot are typically jobs that are not accepted by the Hollow Investigative Association due to risks or legal complications, or personal matters that require discretion. Despite the illegal nature of the Inter-Knot, even affiliates of official organizations such as NEDF's Obsidian Division or the HIA may post job offerings. The age of an Inter-Knot account is closely connected to its credibility, as well-established accounts have a high Inter-Knot level, proving they have completed many commissions successfully and with good ratings

Though inter-knot is also a place that can be used for social media gatherings and news distribution and has multiple forums and talk groups dedicated to various topics

Fairy is a sophisticated artificial intelligence program that specializes in Hollow exploration. Her current master is the Proxy Phaethon.

Fairy can analyze Hollow environments at nearly incomparable speeds, able to map out pathways, predict enemy movements, and find rifts or exits. She can also manipulate parts of the environment as long as they are electronic in nature. These abilities make Fairy extremely useful for allied Proxies and Agents.

Fairy tends to be quite sassy for an AI, even going as far as to call eous, Belle and wises bangboo assistant number one, and Belle assistant number 2

Fairy also tends to be very very loyal towards wise and Belle all things considered, even though fairy jacks the electric bill 3 times fold alone

Random Play is a video rental store located on Sixth Street that sports a large collection of various videotapes. Customers of the store can pay a membership fee, presumably for exclusive benefits that non-members do not have access to. Though a legitimate business, the video store is actually a front for the siblings' Wise and Belle's Proxy career. Following the events of Business x Strangeness x Justness, Wise and Belle focus on managing the store as their main source of income, since the loss of their Phaethon account forced them to rebuild their Inter-Knot reputation from scratch.
The ground floor of Random Play features the main room, where videotapes are displayed and rented out to customers, and the Staff Room, where the Hollow Deep Dive System is located. Only people who are privy to the siblings' secret identity as Phaethon, such as Shepherd, the cunning hares are allowed in the Staff Room. The ground floor also has an exterior Parking Lot. The second floor features the siblings bedrooms.

Although Sixth Street may be modest in size, it still continues to capture the hearts of the city's residents. Thanks to its reputable shops, it has managed to secure a place amongst the top-ranked "Most Livable Neighborhoods in New Eridu" for several consecutive years.

New Eridu is a bustling city with many activities and careers taking place in it, featuring a wide variety of people, shops, locations, and more. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu feature extensive infrastructure with roads and trains being able to transport its citizens to the wide variety of locations it offers. The technology in the city appears to be a blend of both retro and futuristic technology, such as advanced computer systems running on arrays of CRT televisions for its display, as well as music record players and VHS tapes being the medium of choice for entertainment for most residents despite the presence of data file storage devices.

Ethereals are the mutant flora and fauna created by Hollows. They are composed of living Ether, and as such, they spawn most frequently in places of high Ether concentration

Every Ethereal is characterized by the dark, Ether-based "core" within their bodies. Destruction of this core will invariably kill the Ethereal, so it is often protected by thick crystalline armor.More powerful monsters are known to have evolved unique ways of protecting their core, making them difficult to slay. Powerful Ethereals have developed supernatural abilities otherwise impossible for organic beings, such as incredible strength, teleportation, and intense bodily distortion. Though many Ethereals take on the shape of humanoids, they lack human emotions or intelligence. Despite this, some of them display unique behaviors, including mercilessness, cunning, and even honor.

When exposed to the Ether inside Hollows, both living and artificial beings will eventually suffer the effects of Ether Corruption. Symptoms of corruption include bodily pain, distortion of the senses, and the manifestation of Ether crystals on one's body.Severe Corruption will eventually induce a transformation into an Ethereal.

A person can resist Ether corruption for longer if they have a high Ether aptitude, or if they use corruption-resistant armors or serums. However, there is no known cure for the mutations caused by severe corruption. Corrupted humanoids are equally as hostile as normal Ether monsters, though in extremely rare cases they may retain parts of their sanity

It has been proven fact that defeating ethereal's shrinks the given hollow they are founded in, and the bigger and stronger the ethereal the more it shrinks
