Bullworth Academy is a boarding school located in the New England region of the northeastern United States. Architecturally, it is designed in a neo-Gothic style and has a reputation as one of the toughest and worst schools in the country.

The academy campus consists of nine main buildings that play a key role in school life: the boys' dormitory, the girls' dormitory, the main building, the library, the auto shop, Harrington House, the Jocks' club building, and the observatory. There are also other structures, but they are of little importance. A total of 60 students attend the school, not counting the prefects. The academy grounds occupy about 16% of the entire town of Bullworth.

The school has a football field and eleven school subjects: art, biology, chemistry, grammar, geography, physical education, history, mathematics, music, photography, and shop.

The layout of the grounds is carefully planned. The boys' and girls' dormitories are the northernmost buildings and are located near some of the school gates. The main school building is the largest; to its west are the parking lot and auto shop, and to its east is the library.

To the south of the main building is an inner courtyard with a fountain, in the center of which stands a statue of the school mascot. To the east of the fountain is Harrington House, while the western side is given over to a large auto shop area with garages. This area is a frequent site of clashes between rival student groups. The windows of Principal Crabblesnitch's office look directly onto this courtyard, allowing him to observe what is happening.

Further south are the gym and the football field. The field borders the observatory and the countryside, where there are several passages into the Blue Skies Industrial Park that can be called a “back way” out of the school.

Bullworth is a town in New England and is the setting of the game Bully. The town has six main districts and resembles a small North East Coastal city. The population of all boroughs combined is 128,000, according to a sign in the introduction sequence.

Bullworth Town is the commercial borough of the town, housing many of the town's shops and the town hall. The area is frequented by Nerds, but the Greasers and the Townies also appear in the area while the Bullies can be found hanging around outside the Motel. It also appears to house many apartments.

Old Bullworth Vale is a borough, which has two main areas. There is a shopping section, smaller than Bullworth Town, and a residential area, which houses many of the wealthier residents of the town. This includes the Preppies, Mr. Hattrick and the leader of the Bullies, Russell Northrop. It has a beach facing an ocean inlet, and is also where the carnival is located.

New Coventry is the run-down, urban-poor borough, consisting of mainly tenement housing. There are few shops, housing the poorer residents of the town. The district is the hang-out of the Greasers clique, although the Townies do appear individually in parts of New Coventry.

Blue Skies Industrial Park is the industrial borough of the town and is home to the Townies clique. The area houses the poorest residents of the town and mainly consists of factories and industrial buildings.

The Happy Volts Asylum is the town's psychiatric institute and houses many patients, some of whom are also Townies. The asylum is located between Blue Skies Industrial Park and Bullworth Academy.

General information: Harriet has a bad reputation not only among other students but even among the school staff. Algernon calls her a sociopath; Pinky claims she enjoys tormenting people. Harriet herself admits that among her problems is ADHD, and she displays traits of narcissism and paranoia, dreaming of ruling an empire. She was prescribed medication, which she stopped taking shortly before Halloween. She was listed among Dr. Bambiyo’s patients. Despite her mental instability, Harriet is very observant and even says that she “hears everything” and nothing escapes her attention. She also believes that only weak people need friends. But Harriet, nevertheless, calls people “friends” regardless of whether they are hostile or friendly towards her. Her favorite insult is “scoundrel.” Another of her favorite expressions is “imbeciles.” Harriet is incredibly talented at manipulating people (not only students, but also school staff), and she is also very intelligent, which she constantly reminds those around her.
