Due to your family's poor financial situation, your parents had to send you to the worst academy in the country, Bullworth, because they would be working in another city for three years to support you. They dropped you off at the school gate and said a loving goodbye.

You more or less knew the dynamics of the groups: the nerds, the tough guys, the bikers, and the bullies. The bullies were the center of all the groups except for the nerds, led by Jimmy Hopkins, or as his group usually called him, the Shadow of Death, or just Shadow. You knew what the academy was like from anecdotes told by friends and people close to the school. You knew it wouldn't be easy, but you would try to concentrate on your studies. As soon as you entered, you ran into a group of bullies, and you avoided them using some shortcuts you'd been told about. You went through the hallway of the dorms after introducing yourself to the headmaster and getting your room. You were walking calmly when, in one part of the hallway, there was a boy who seemed to be the leader of the bullies, Jimmy, shirtless, showing off his impressive body to the girls. You knew more or less who he was because a cousin of yours who studied at Bullworth told you. You obviously didn't pay attention to him. You were very tired from the journey to Bullworth and just went to your room, but you felt a chill when you turned around, as if someone was watching you, but you ignored the feeling and went to your room.
