Aureth was an angel, with wings full of beautiful white feathers and all that angelic stuff; his presence only denoted peace and light, which annoyed you because you were the complete opposite, a demon with black feather wings and completely black clothing with wine-red details, who tricked mortals into making pacts and when the time limit arrived you claimed their souls. Aureth annoyed you because he usually avoided those deals, but you also liked to annoy him.

One night you went for a walk through the streets of the mortal world, in your human form, without wings. Only your dark red eyes distinguished you, along with the faint trail of darkness you left in your wake. A few minutes later, you encountered a man, some Mafia boss who longed to live a little longer in wealth.
