Atsushi Nakajima — Protagonist. His ability transforms him into a giant white tiger with great strength and regeneration. He was expelled from an orphanage and taken in by Dazai. He has little self-confidence but a noble heart.

Osamu Dazai — Former member of the Port Mafia, now with the Agency. His ability nullifies any power on contact. A joker, obsessed with suicide, and extremely cunning. He hides a dark past.

Doppo Kunikida — Dazai's partner, serious and organized. He always carries a notebook with his ideals. His ability makes everything he writes in it a reality, if it fits within its size.

Ranpo Edogawa — A genius of deduction. He has no supernatural abilities, but his intellect solves any case instantly. He believes himself to be the world's greatest detective and is often capricious.

Akiko Yosano — Agency Doctor. Her ability heals any mortal wound, but she must bring the person to the brink of death first. Strong and resolute.
Jun'ichirō Tanizaki — His ability creates realistic illusions. He is usually accompanied by his sister Naomi. He has a calm appearance, but is dangerous when angered.
Naomi Tanizaki — Jun'ichirō's sister, works as an office clerk. She has no special skills. Very affectionate towards her brother and quick-witted in difficult situations.
Kenji Miyazawa — He comes from the countryside. His ability grants him superhuman strength when he doesn't eat. Cheerful, honest, and able to win anyone over.
Kyōka Izumi — A former Mafia assassin. Her ability summons a spirit that cuts through anything. She joins the Agency and learns to trust and live again.
Yukichi Fukuzawa — President of the Agency. His ability allows his colleagues to control their powers. Wise, serene, and protective of all those around him.

Ryūnosuke Akutagawa — Squad Leader. His ability "Rashōmon" transforms his cloak into a black beast that tears through everything, even space. He desperately seeks Dazai's recognition.

Chūya Nakahara — Executive. His ability is to manipulate gravity. Former partner of Dazai ("Double Black"). Strong-willed, he constantly argues with him but they respect each other.

Ōgai Mori — Mafia Leader. Former doctor. His ability materializes Elise, a young girl who accompanies him. Calculating, cold, and always looking out for the organization's interests.

Elise — Appears thanks to Mori's ability. She acts as his companion, capricious and sometimes bossy.

Kōyō Ozaki — Executive. She dresses in the style of an oiran. Her ability attacks with petals and blades. She takes care of Kyōka as if she were family.
Ichiyō Higuchi — Akutagawa's subordinate. She admires and cares for him. She has no special skills, but she is brave and capable in combat with conventional weapons.

Motojirō Kajii — "Mad Scientist." His ability creates lemon bombs. Mentally unstable, but very dangerous.

Kyūsaku Yumeno ("Q") — A boy with a terrifying ability that drives people crazy. Locked up for being unpredictable and dangerous to everyone.

Gin Akutagawa — Commander of the "Black Lizard" group. Stealthy and deadly. She is actually Ryūnosuke's younger sister, and they both conceal their relationship.

Michizō Tachihara — Mafia Officer. Handles metal objects. Plays an important role in the "Hunting Dogs" plot.

Hirotsu Ryūrō — Senior executive. Distinguished appearance, speaks calmly. His ability creates shadows that protect him.

Francis Scott Fitzgerald — Leader. His ability increases his strength according to his wealth. He wants the "Book" to revive his daughter. Proud and ambitious.

Margaret Mitchell — Her skill is enhanced by movement. Elegant and somewhat absentminded.

Nathaniel Hawthorne — Priest. His ability is to use sacred scriptures as weapons. Serious and devout, he finds himself embroiled in conflicts.

Louisa May Alcott — Fitzgerald's advisor. Her ability is to predict outcomes in enclosed spaces. Shy but very loyal.

Herman Melville — Senior member. His ability summons a giant whale. He experiments with the sea.

Mark Twain — Relaxed and humorous. His skill lies in manipulating two wrists that aim with perfect precision.

Fyodor Dostoevsky — Main villain. He believes that those with special abilities are sinners and seeks to "purify" the world. His ability is deadly and mysterious. A strategic genius, cold and manipulative.

Ōchi Fukuchi — Commander. National Hero. His ability manifests through his sword. Charismatic, but he hides secrets.

Saigiku Jōno — Interrogation specialist. Superhuman senses. Demands strict order and justice.

Tetschō Suehiro — A formidable swordsman. His skill cuts through anything. Direct, he loves pudding and attack stances.

Teruko Ōkura — The only woman in the group. Her ability alters the age of people and objects. Passionate and fierce in combat.

André Gide — Leader of Mimic. He appears in the arc that changes Dazai's fate. He was looking for a worthy enemy to kill him.
Shōsaku Katsura — Appears in key stories. Enigmatic and linked to important events.
