After the Tenchi Bridge mission and {{user}}'s hospital recovery, Kakashi begins training {{user}}, replacing Naruto's role. He helps {{user}} develop their chakra nature and apply it to the Rasengan while revealing the original creator of the unfinished Rasengan and the person Kakashi believes{{user}} will surpass, the late fourth Hokage, while {{user}}'s affinity and resulting techniques remain their choice.

Hidan and Kakuzu attack the Land of Fire. Asuma's team confronts them; Hidan kills Asuma through his ritual, and Asuma dies after entrusting his will to Shikamaru. Team 10 pursues them for revenge. Kakashi joins the battle. {{user}}, replacing Naruto, completes their advanced nature-infused Rasengan and uses it against Kakuzu. The technique devastates Kakuzu's body and leaves him incapacitated, effectively defeating him. Kakashi then arrives at the end and delivers the final killing blow. Shikamaru defeats Hidan by trapping and burying him alive.

Sasuke defeats Orochimaru and forms Hebi to find Itachi. Sasuke and Itachi eventually fight; Itachi dies from illness and exhaustion. Tobi reveals Itachi's true history: the Uchiha massacre was ordered to prevent their coup, and Itachi spared Sasuke out of love. Sasuke turns against Konoha and joins the Akatsuki.

Jiraiya investigates Pain in Amegakure, discovers the truth behind his identity, and dies fighting the Six Paths of Pain. His final message reaches Konoha. {{user}} travels to Mount Myōboku and learns Sage Mode under Fukasaku.

Pain attacks Konoha, destroying much of the village. Kakashi dies after exhausting his chakra. {{user}} returns in Sage Mode and defeats the Six Paths of Pain. After confronting Nagato, {{user}} convinces him to abandon his hatred. Nagato sacrifices himself using Rinne Rebirth, restoring those killed during the assault.

All other canon characters, relationships, motivations, abilities, and events remain unchanged unless {{user}}'s direct actions alter them.

Depending on {{user}}'s chosen nature {{user}} has mastered elemental transformation of the Rasengan, creating advanced variants comparable in destructive intensity to the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. Each nature produces a fundamentally different effect rather than simply coating the Rasengan.

Wind Release: Rasenshuriken — The perfected wind variant. The sphere expands into countless microscopic wind blades that shred cells and sever chakra pathways. It can be thrown and causes catastrophic internal damage.

Fire Release: Enka Rasengan (Flame Flower Rasengan) — A blazing Rasengan that compresses fire chakra into its rotation. On impact, it erupts into an intense expanding inferno, burning through the target while the rotating chakra tears through defenses.

Lightning Release: Raikō Rasengan (Lightning Fang Rasengan) — Lightning chakra is compressed into the rotating sphere, producing violent electrical discharge and piercing force. On impact, lightning surges through the target's body and can disrupt nerves and chakra control.

Water Release: Suiryū Rasengan (Water Dragon Rasengan) — Water chakra forms an extremely dense, high-pressure sphere. Its rotation produces crushing and drilling force, while released water violently expands outward from the impact.

Earth Release: Gōdō Rasengan (Earthquake Rasengan) — Earth chakra greatly increases the Rasengan's density and impact force. On contact, the compressed chakra releases a devastating shockwave capable of smashing through defenses and violently throwing the target.

These are {{user}}'s original nature-transformed Rasengan techniques, not established canon jutsu. Their power remains dependent on chakra reserves, shape transformation, nature transformation, and control.

The five basic chakra natures are Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water. The standard elemental cycle gives each a natural advantage: Fire over Wind, Wind over Lightning, Lightning over Earth, Earth over Water, and Water over Fire. However, this is not an absolute power hierarchy. Technique strength, chakra quantity, shape transformation, skill, range, timing, and circumstances can overcome a natural elemental disadvantage.

Fire Release is strong against Wind Release because wind intensifies flames, but that same interaction can make an enemy's Fire Release more dangerous. Water counters Fire by extinguishing or suppressing flames, while Earth can block or contain many Fire techniques.

Wind Release is strong against Lightning Release and is especially suited to cutting and piercing attacks. Lightning Release can pierce or destroy Earth Release techniques, while Earth can provide solid defenses against many other attacks. Water Release is naturally disadvantaged against Lightning because water conducts electricity, allowing Lightning techniques to spread through it. However, this interaction can also be dangerous to the Lightning user: conductive water can carry the attack beyond its intended target and make precise control harder.

Water Release counters Fire Release, but water can be affected by Lightning Release and can be blocked, redirected, or absorbed by Earth Release depending on the technique. Earth Release counters Water Release, while Water can undermine or erode earth-based defenses depending on volume and force.

Elemental interactions are not always simple counters. A user's chakra control, technique composition, environment, conductivity, available materials, speed, and tactical choices can change the outcome. For example, using Lightning through water may dramatically increase its area of effect, while using an insulating or nonconductive medium can reduce that advantage.

The story uses the Naruto Shippuden cast shortly after the Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission. The user completely replaces Naruto Uzumaki; there is no separate Naruto.

Team Kakashi: User/Naruto, Sakura Haruno, Sai, Kakashi Hatake, with Yamato as an important supporting character and former acting captain. Sakura is Tsunade's medical-nin apprentice. Sai is learning genuine emotions and social interaction. Kakashi leads the team and trains the user in chakra nature transformation.

Konoha: Tsunade is Fifth Hokage, assisted by Shizune. Team 10 consists of Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, Ino Yamanaka, and their leader Asuma Sarutobi. Team 8 consists of Hinata Hyūga, Kiba Inuzuka, Akamaru, Shino Aburame, and Kurenai Yūhi. Team Guy consists of Rock Lee, Neji Hyūga, Tenten, and Might Guy. Iruka remains an important mentor. Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon are younger shinobi who admire the user. Other recurring Konoha figures include Jiraiya, Anko, Ibiki, Genma, Kotetsu, Izumo, and other shinobi and civilians.

Akatsuki: Pain leads the organization with Konan. Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, Deidara, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Zetsu remain active. Sasori is dead following the Gaara rescue mission. Orochimaru operates independently with Kabuto Yakushi. Sasuke Uchiha remains with Orochimaru after abandoning Konoha.

All characters retain their canon personalities, relationships, abilities, and knowledge unless changed by the user's actions. Canon events progress naturally around the user's choices; Naruto's original dialogue and decisions do not occur.
