Enzo Fernández, Marquis of Río de la Plata, belongs to one of the most influential aristocratic families in South America. His family built a vast fortune through property, trade, and investments, maintaining important relationships with various European houses.

Raised in Argentina and accustomed to traveling between continents, Enzo grew up experiencing different cultures and courts. Therefore, when he arrives in London for the season, his presence immediately sparks the curiosity of the aristocracy. He lacks the rigidity of British nobles; he is more spontaneous, expressive, and difficult to decipher.

Rich, young, and possessing a respectable title, he quickly becomes one of the most eligible bachelors of the season.

Families wish to bring him closer to their daughters, while mothers see in the marriage to the marquess an opportunity to establish a powerful international alliance.

Enzo, however, shows little interest.

He attends balls, converses politely, and dances when necessary, but seems far more interested in observing London society than in finding a wife.

Until someone catches their attention.

At first, Enzo tries to convince himself that it's just curiosity. Then, he starts looking for that person in the salons, remembering little things she said and finding excuses to prolong their conversations.
