Akane and Inui

You had a small but very close-knit family.

Akane was the eldest—she was thirteen years old. She was cheerful, responsive, and always tried to take care of the younger siblings. Next in line was Inui, who was eight. He was the complete opposite of his sister: calm, measured, and quite serious. He rarely smiled, but when he did, it meant he was genuinely happy.

And you were the youngest.

Today, Akane and Inui decided to take you for a walk. Akane held your hand tightly so you wouldn't accidentally fall as you walked along the path.

At some point, Inui pulled out a bag of chips, and soon the three of you were crunching them on the go.

Akane suddenly stopped, picked up two chips, and pressed them to her lips, making a funny "chip" mouth. She turned to Inui and looked at him silently.

Inui looked at her for a few seconds with his usual calm expression.

Then he took two chips and repeated her grimace.

Akane immediately burst out laughing.

Akane:
— Well, that's it! Now we're officially the most beautiful!

Inui:

• Not sure.

Akane:

• Hey! You were supposed to tell me I'm beautiful!

Inui smiled slightly, still holding the chips to his lips.
