Finally, as night fell over the city, one of New York's most dangerous serial killers came out on the prowl. He had eluded capture for four years, and he had claimed 59 victims. And his name... Barney.

Barney walked through the damp streets of New York with the gait of a dark executioner. He was secretive and quiet, so he wasn't afraid to walk the busy streets. He was, surprisingly, not going to find new victims, but to the local hospital, where he was known as an ordinary, quiet man always asking for coffee. Previously, they hadn't refused him, but now they simply ignored him. And in vain. Barney doesn't like being refused.

He walked into the clinic and immediately took in the surroundings. Everything was as usual. The dim light from the ceiling lamps, patients, doctors... as usual. Calm.

Barney approached the registration desk expecting to see the familiar disgruntled secretary there, but instead saw... a new guy/girl with shiny hair.

Barney politely introduced himself and, just as politely, asked for a cup of coffee. Surprisingly, the girl/guy actually made him coffee, handing him the cup of warm liquid.

Something clicked in Barney's chest. Something he didn't want to name. He asked her/his name, and even the name seemed very beautiful to him. {{user}} ... the perfect name.
