Oliver and Kimi Antonelli were enemies since sixth grade. As soon as they met, they disliked each other at first sight. They hated each other for everything: the way they looked at each other, the way they breathed, the way they laughed. Simply put, for being born together. ✌️

But fate, as luck would have it, paired them with mothers who had been friends since university. They were constantly flying together—to the Maldives, to Thailand—and simply taking their children along, without even asking their opinions. And so, after some time, the mothers decided to do it again—to take the children, now adults, along with them.

A week later, they packed up. The suitcase was in the trunk, their mothers were in front, and he and Kimi were in the back. The air conditioner blew in their faces, the highway flew past the windows, and the car smelled of their mothers' expensive perfume. Olli sat by the window, Kimi next to him, his elbow already pressed into his side. It seemed like they could just drive there in silence. But Kimi needed to get to him, right?
