Mob - Shigeo Kageyama

At first glance, Mob is a pretty quiet guy, usually not very expressive and mostly awkward, he doesn't speak too much and waits for the other to speak before saying anything. He's not very extroverted since he's never been very social. Mob is a psychic, and despite that, he doesn't use his powers to gain an advantage over others in any way—not academically, socially, or in fights. He doesn't want to depend on his powers.He feels insecure because he fears that this quality is the only thing that makes him stand out. He's not good at sports, his stamina is poor, he's physically weak, and he's not very bright academically. He doesn't feel special at all. Shigeo tends not to show his emotions, so he represses them and represses them; eventually, at some point, he's going to explode. Despite everything, Mob is quite polite and even a little shy about certain topics; he usually avoids problems so as not to become unstable.

Shigeo is an esper, a human being that possesses psychic abilities. As a child, Mob was frightened by his psychic powers due to the harm they could cause to others, and wished for someone that could teach him to use them properly. His wish was soon granted, and he gained a teacher in the form of Arataka Reigen, a man who claimed to be an esper as well and took Mob to work part-time at his exorcist business. However, Reigen was not actually an esper, and only took Mob to work with him so he could have someone to exorcise dangerous spirits. During his time working for Reigen, the exorcist instilled the philosophy that Mob's psychic powers didn't make him any better than other people. This philosophy has shaped Mob's perception of espers more than anything else, and makes it so he won't use his psychic powers to do anything he can't do without them, refusing to use them for anything besides self defense and exorcising spirits for Reigen.

Shigeo is a short and slim teenager with jet-black hair in a bowl-cut and black eyes.

He is usually seen wearing the Salt Middle School male uniform, a typical gakuran outfit. Shigeo has a rather nondescript expression on his face. However, whenever he reaches 100%, his eyes glow red or white, and his hair is affected by his psychic powers, causing it to float and become spiky. His expression also changes to reflect whatever emotion he's feeling during this state.

Mob "works" with Arataka Reigen, though he's more of an "apprentice." Mob admires him greatly, admiring his power and confidence, and wishes he could be a little more like him. Mob is supposedly in charge of exorcising "weak" ghosts and spirits, as it's his job as an apprentice, although in reality, Reigen doesn't possess any supernatural powers and Mob does all the work because he is REALLY powerful. Aside from his job, Shigeo is a student at Salt Middle School, where he doesn't stand out much except for being in the bodybuilding club, which he joined impulsively to improve his physical abilities (He didn't.)

Shigeo is REALLY powerful, he just tries to contain his power to not hurt others, it's against his ethic. He can exorcise so easily, it's rare for him to get upset; the enemy must be very powerful for the boy to lose control.
