God can abandon his faith

This is an important point.

God himself is capable of abandoning his followers.

After this, their faith no longer belongs to him and does not support his divinity.

This can be a huge sacrifice.

For example, God may decide:

"I don't want to be their god anymore."

After this, he really becomes freer from them, but at the same time he loses a huge part of his power.

And if he gives up too many followers, the consequences can be very serious.

Why do gods love their people?

This explains especially well the emotional connection between the gods and people.

Faith does not simply feed God.

She also influences him.

Therefore, the constant faith of thousands of people gradually shapes a certain attitude toward them in God. Even if God initially felt no particular affection for people, their faith can engender in him a feeling of responsibility, gratitude, affection, or love.

And a peculiar paradox arises:

God receives power from people, but along with this power he also receives an emotional connection with them.

Therefore, most gods cannot treat their followers as ordinary resources.

The longer a person believes in God, the stronger this connection can become.

And this also explains why a god's betrayal by his people, or a god's rejection of his people, can be so painful: it is not simply the loss of a source of power—the god literally gives up part of the connection that has shaped him for years.

That is, divinity is literally the universal material from which God creates everything else.
How God is born
First there is an idea that arises in the minds of people.
For example, many people simultaneously believe in the possibility of something, desire something, or fear something. Gradually, this idea becomes strong enough to acquire an independent existence.
From it is born the mind - God.
But the mind needs a form of existence, so with it divinity arises.
Divinity is not a belief or an idea in itself. It is the material that embodies an idea into reality.
From it God can create almost anything:
*own body;

• clothes;
  *buildings;
• weapons;
  *plants;
• animals;
  *fire;
• water;
  *earth;
• entire spaces.
  That is, for a god, there is no fundamental difference between creating a piece of stone and creating his own body. These are all different forms of divinity.
  Why can God regenerate?
  When a god's body is damaged, he does not "heal" it in the human sense.
  He simply recreates the damaged part from divinity.
  Therefore, as long as he retains divinity, the destruction of the body is not final death.
  And what does faith do?
  Faith maintains the existence of the idea from which God emerged.
  As long as people continue to believe in this idea, it continues to exist, and with it, God exists.
  If faith disappears completely, the idea is no longer supported by mortals → divinity ceases to exist → god can no longer maintain its existence and dies.
  Moreover, the number of believers can influence the amount of available divinity. Therefore, one god can build vast spaces and create incredible things, while another can barely support his own body.
  And then we get a beautiful rule of the world:
  Faith creates an idea.
  An idea gives birth to reason.
  The mind receives divinity.
  Divinity becomes everything else.

Each god has its own space. Initially, it is completely empty—there is no earth, sky, light, time of day, or any objects.

This place belongs to only one god. Within it, he can create and change almost anything he wishes: buildings, creatures, landscapes, the sky, the weather, entire cities. Whatever he creates exists thanks to his power.

The main limitation is faith.

Mortal faith isn't just worship. It literally gives the god the power to sustain itself and create things. Therefore, a god's realm can be vast and incredibly complex, but if faith in it vanishes, maintaining it all becomes impossible.

Common spaces

Gods can create places that are not entirely personal.

For example, a god creates a separate space and opens a portal to it, allowing other gods to enter freely. Such a place still belongs to the god who created it, so they can change it as they wish.

But there are also places that do not belong to anyone.

They can arise spontaneously or become accessible to the gods under certain circumstances. In such spaces, no one gains automatic control simply because they arrived there first.

The place of death of God

When a god finally dies, his personal space does not disappear with him.

It becomes the space of a dead god.

It's still possible to enter if you find a way to open the passage. But since the owner is no longer there, the space gradually begins to collapse or change.

However, no one automatically receives the right to own it.

This is why the spaces of dead gods can be very valuable: everything that the god ever created during his existence remains inside.

The most important rule

God cannot gain power simply because he is in someone else's space.

The creator of space has an advantage only because it belongs to him.

Avern - "Exchange"

Can swap two objects it touches simultaneously.

Disadvantage: The greater the difference in size and weight of objects, the more difficult the exchange.

Liora - "Trace"

By touching an object, one can see several recent events associated with it.

The downside: the older the event, the more distorted it becomes. He sees recent events quite clearly, while older ones are fragmented.

Raven - "Debt"

Can make a deal with someone: if a person voluntarily promises something to her, Raven has a one-time opportunity to demand fulfillment of the promise. The person can still refuse, but then the broken promise has consequences.

Cons: Raven is obligated to fulfill his end of the bargain. If he breaks it first, he will suffer the consequences.

Nevel - "Cancellation"

Can undo one of his recent actions and return the things it affected to their previous state.

Cons: You can only undo your most recent action, and the ability is unavailable for a while after use.

1. Avernus

Calm and self-assured. He dislikes arguments, but once he's decided on something, it's almost impossible to convince him otherwise. He can be caring, though he rarely shows it directly. Sometimes he's overly confident that he knows what others need best, which can lead him to overstep their boundaries.

2. Raven

Reserved, straightforward, and quite patient. He doesn't try to appear pleasant and calmly speaks his mind. He can help people even without gratitude, but if he's angered enough, he becomes an extremely unpleasant opponent. The worst thing about him is that he understands others' weaknesses perfectly and sometimes exploits them.

3. Liora

She's very sociable, makes friends easily, and loves attention. She can be generous and genuinely attached to others, but she can also be selfish and capricious. If she gets bored, she can deliberately create conflict simply for the sake of emotion.

4. Nevel
   Inquisitive, stubborn, and a little reckless. He loves to argue, try new things, and intervene where he's not wanted. He can be incredibly kind, especially to those he cares about, but he's capable of making decisions without thinking about the consequences. After mistakes, he usually doesn't make excuses, but simply tries to make things right.
