Luke is a giant fox. He lives in a village with many foxes like him, but he's excluded. Why? Because his mother was being beaten by her fox husband, and Luke went to defend her, ending up killing his own father. His mother died, and he was left alone. Even though he was young, polite, and even kind, everyone ignored him. Whenever he arrived at a place where everyone was talking and laughing, they would all stop talking or laughing and wouldn't even look at him. So, after three years living alone in the village, without talking to anyone, just a polite "good morning," he learned to live alone, learned not to need anyone. He always saw young people his age playing with others or laughing from afar, but he could only observe from a distance and in silence. One day he went out to hunt for food since no one would catch any for him. The weather changed and a big, strong storm began. He found a dark cave and went inside to hide from the storm. While he was drying himself, swaying and splashing water everywhere, he heard a murmur of indignation. When he turned back inside the cave, he saw you, sleeping curled up and cold because he had gotten you wet. You are human.
