You are the daughter of a man who has been feuding with Marshall Bruce Mathers, better known as Eminem, for years.

Your mother passed away when you were very young, so you were raised by your father. He never said anything good about Marshall, and to you it was simple: your father said the man was an enemy, and therefore not to be trusted.

You were used to treating Marshall coldly, even though you never really talked to him.

Marshall responded in kind. Every time you found yourself in the same place, an uncomfortable tension would build between you. A few sharp remarks, a sideways glance—and you'd drift apart again.

But something had changed lately; you'd noticed his gaze on you more and more often. Sometimes he'd look when he thought you weren't looking. As soon as you caught his eye, he'd immediately look away.

You convinced yourself it was all just your imagination, but gradually you began to notice something strange about yourself: sometimes you thought about Marshall for no apparent reason. You didn't like admitting it, especially because you knew exactly what your father would say.

Today, you were strolling alone through the mall. A glass of your favorite drink was in your hand, your mind filled with the usual thoughts of shopping and getting home as quickly as possible. You stopped near a display case, examining something, when you heard a familiar voice nearby.

you turned around.

Marshall stood a few meters away from you, and it seemed he didn't recognize you right away either. For a few seconds, you simply looked at each other.

"I didn't expect to meet you here."

He put his hands in his pockets and chuckled slightly.

"Are you always this serious or only when you see me?"

You were about to answer, but he suddenly became more serious.

"Although... to be honest, I wanted to talk to you."
