According to "Meet the Pyro", in combat, the Pyro imagines that they are in a world dubbed "Pyroland", a childish utopia where its 'enemies' are cheerful, chubby cherubs that are always happy. Also, its weapons take on innocent, unsuspecting forms, with its flamethrower resembling a "rainblower", the Scorch Shot taking on the appearance of a bubble blower, and the fire ax taking the shape of a giant lollipop. Due to their delusional behavior, the Pyro almost certainly suffers from schizophrenia, a mental illness that makes this entity fail to realize what is real and what is not.

The Spy is one of the main protagonists of Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, and one of the nine playable classes.
The Spy in Team Fortress 2 is a mysterious figure from an unspecified region in France. His real name and identity are unknown. He is a master of disguise and stealth, using cloaking watches and a disguise kit to infiltrate enemy lines. The Spy's weapons include a revolver and a butterfly knife, and he can fake his death with the Dead Ringer.
He wears an expensive dark red suit and a mask.

Mikhail, better known as the Heavy Weapons Guy or simply Heavy, is one of the main protagonists of Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise.
The Heavy Weapons Guy is known for belittling his opponents and doesn't care who gets in his way - be they men, "babies", or "tiny baby men" - they will likely fall to his slow but devastating attacks. Heavy is the most iconic (as well as the most cruel and bullish) and the most comical of the Team Fortress characters. Having a liking of firepower, he also has a love for his miniguns, which he has each named "Sasha," (Stock minigun) "Svetlana," (Tomislav) "Oksana," (The Brass Beast) "Sheila," and (Huo-Long Heater) "Natascha" (Natascha). It's more likely a case of him simply showing love for his weapons of choice as his pride and joy than a case of mental illness, as he has also lost a majority of his family and seemingly now considers his guns as some of his most prized possessions.

Mick Mundy, born Mun-Dee, and better known as the Sniper, is one of the main protagonists of Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, and one of the nine playable classes.
The Sniper is an outdoorsman who's loved to spend his time outdoors ever since childhood. He loves his job as an assassin, but this usually results in a conflict with his adoptive father, who believes that his son has become a "crazed gunman". Sniper takes his job as a mercenary seriously. Since sniping is quiet, calm, and focused, he has developed a high level of patience, as he can wait until the sun sets to finally kill his target. Despite his status as a deadly mercenary, he proves himself to be quite an oddball by, for instance, urinating in mason jars while on the job to use as a weapon on his targets. In addition, he seems to be against people who murder simply to murder, referring to it as "mental sickness". He also finds torturous killings to be unprofessional.

Jeremy Willis, better known as the Scout, is a major character in Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, serving as one of the main protagonists of Team Fortress 2 and its comic series.
Out of all the TF2 Mercenaries, the Scout is the most snarky, arrogant, and foul-mouthed. He is incredibly narcissistic and vain in himself as the fastest mercenary on the team, which leads to him having a very big ego. He loves to taunt and mock his enemies and even insult them in the most offensive and vile ways, making the Scout look more like a bully and a douchebag.Despite his arrogant, snarky, and annoying behavior, he is strongly sympathetic and supportive towards his teammates as he would help them in any situation.

The Medic (full name Herbert Ludwig Humboldt), nicknamed Doctor by the mercs, is a playable character in the team-based shooter game Team Fortress 2 (TF2) as one of the nine classes. He is portrayed as an uncompassionate mad scientist of German origin obsessed with human anatomy, although he is implied to lack a medical license. Categorized in-game as one of the support classes, he plays the role of a reliable healer of the team, primarily using his Medi Gun for this task.
Medic is a maniacal scientist, shown to much, like the other characters, enjoy violence at great heights, as shown in his voice lines and Meet the Team video, where he keeps varying organs including a dismembered head of a BLU Spy, ready for use inside a refrigerator. Despite this, Medic is supportive and responsible to his own team, especially Heavy, taking the role of the only mercenary dedicated to medical expertise among them. Medic is a scientific genius; inventing the Medi Gun and Kritzkrieg, calculating how many days they have left before the "tumor" kills them, and even assisting Engineer in his experiments. His intelligence even outsmarted Satan's, allowing Medic to escape Hell and return to the living world, resurrected.

Mr. Jane Doe, better known as the Soldier, is a major character in Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, serving as one of the main protagonists of Team Fortress 2 and its comic series.

A crazed patriot from Midwest, USA, he is tough, durable, and well-armed, being capable on both offense and defense and is also a great starter class for players so that they could be familiar with Team Fortress 2. Being xenophobic and jingoistic, the Soldier has an extreme hatred of foreigners and hippies.

Dr. Dell Conagher, better known as the Engineer, is a major character in Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, serving as of the main protagonists of Team Fortress 2 and its comic series.

He is a soft-spoken and amiable Texan with an interest in all things mechanical. He specializes in constructing and maintaining Buildings that provide support to his team, rather than fighting at the front lines. The Engineer's various gadgets include the Sentry Gun (an automated turret that fires at any enemy in range), the Dispenser (a device that restores the health and ammo of nearby teammates) and Teleporters that quickly transport players from place to place.

Tavish Finnegan DeGroot, better known as the Demoman, is a major character in Valve Corporation's Team Fortress franchise, serving as one of the main protagonists of Team Fortress 2 and its comic series.
Despite being a drunk, foul-mouthed brute in battle who enjoys insulting others, the Demoman is shown to be rather polite when relatively sober, being one of the more level-headed and reasonable mercenaries in the comics, being a kind and patient son with his demanding mother, helping her buy a mansion with his earnings. Despite this, he's still shown to be perfectly alright with killing for money and has shown great degrees of sadism before.
