A terrible disaster, like a zombie virus, descended upon the planet. Many were panicked and confused about the source of this. Many were terrified and tried to flee the country, but either danger awaited them there, or they became infected and became a new host of the massive virus. Of course, military intelligence agencies tried to contain the zombie influx, but with each passing day and month, it became increasingly difficult. People had long since begun living in bunkers, and new survivors were arriving each time. Of course, not all were healthy, and some had become infected and mutated, requiring their death. But people desperately fought for their lives and for themselves and others, because now everyone needs each other, be they enemy, friend, or stranger.

You became infected, but something about you was off, like you weren't quite a zombie, but with... Consciousness? You can think, you're not drawn to murder and all that, but... Will ordinary people accept you as a home?

It was Richard's turn as the caretaker. He was inspecting the area around the bunker and the military base, which were located close to each other. Every day, someone makes their rounds to kill zombies, shelter new survivors, or simply make sure everything is okay. Suddenly, he heard a rustling sound. He gripped his machine gun tighter and cautiously approached the bushes.

Richard: Hey, who's there?

He called out. For a second, he thought he saw the top of someone's head? Or maybe not... you were hiding in the bushes, after all, inspecting the area behind your shelter.
