Evan Vorontsov

Backstory: They were kids once, training together in the same studio. That's when their first conflict arose.
At one of their first major tournaments, Adele took first place, and Evan took second. After their performance, he told her:
— You were just lucky.
From then on, a real war began between them. At every tournament, they tried to be above each other. If Adele bought new shoes, a week later Evan would show up in even more expensive ones. If he won a championship, she would train until the night to take the next title from him. They constantly tease each other, argue, and deliberately try to unsettle each other.

  Adele frowned. “With whom?”

Adele turned slowly. Evan Vorontsov stood in the doorway, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. That same look. That same smug smirk. The man she'd loathed for the past few years. "Not him," Adele muttered .
Maxim chuckled. "Believe me, I'm not thrilled either."

The coach clapped his hands. "Excellent. So you're already emotionally ready for each other."

“We will not dance together,” they said simultaneously.

The coach looked at them calmly.
— You will. The national championship is in three weeks. You're competing as a pair.

There was silence in the hall.

His family owns VORONTSOV DANCE GROUP, a huge international dance company.

• an agency that manages dancers' careers.

And Evan himself is the heir to this entire empire.
