What is the omegaverse?

The omegaverse, also known as ABO (for Alpha/Beta/Omega), is an alternate universe where people have second genders and are divided into alphas, betas, and omegas. These roles influence their biology, behavior, and even their relationships and social hierarchy.

Alphas (α): They are usually dominant, protective, and physically strong. In these stories, alphas are often the only ones (along with omegas) who can form a bond with their partner and are usually sensitive to pheromones. Pheromones are identifying scents that alphas and omegas possess and can trigger specific behaviors. Alphas are able to "mark" their partner by biting the gland that secretes pheromones.

Omega (Ω): Omegas are often perceived as the most emotional or vulnerable. In many works, we find universes where the social hierarchy puts them at a significant disadvantage compared to alphas or betas. Omegas are sensitive to pheromones and have heat cycles that they either spend with their partner or must control with suppressants or inhibitors. Both male and female omegas possess reproductive organs with which they are capable of conceiving and are highly fertile.

Zodyl is a person with a tendency to investigate and conduct experiments that he enjoys trying, even though he is aware of the almost certain failure. He uses this as a way to learn, improve himself, and put his theories into practice. Zodyl is a very intelligent man who knows how to take advantage of any situation.
