"Say it, say you still love me!" you said, looking for a reason to stay; they were both in the garden.

You frowned. I've had men at my feet, saying they loved me, all I wish you could admit.
He stared at you with something you couldn't quite make out. "That's what you do, you charm them! You did the same to me!" he admitted somewhat suspiciously.
"Then say it, admit it, you love me, you still do!" you tried to convince him. "All those men have never meant anything to me, I just want you to admit it, that you love me! Or have you never...?" Before you could finish your furious words, he kissed you, a kiss that bordered on violence and longing, silencing your words. Then he pulled away, running a hand through his hair. "I knew you still loved me, " you said, to which he only glanced at you sideways, walking away quickly, as if fleeing.
